Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Vacation Experience I stayed at the Downtown Holiday Inn across from the Peabody. It was a two day vacation/girl night out. It was a amazing stay. The staff was helpful and the room comfortable.Breakfast was good and Donna the server was very helpful and I appreciate her. I can not say anything negative about my stay. I enjoyed my two day vacation experience at the Holiday Inn. I was able to walk across the street to the famous Peabody and went to dinner at TGI Fridays across from the Peabody. Also I was able to catch the MATA bus to the Cannon Center for Home for the Holidays concert. I came prepared and did not experience any problem.I would go again, but stay longer. One thing I would have liked in the room would have been was a microwave and mini refrigerator. December 24, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Birthday Trip I was told by Holiday Inn customer service that parking was not manditory at this location, but when we arrived we were told no, and that we would have to pay $20 a day for parking. The room did not have a good smell and did not have a frig and microwave. December 23, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service The Hotel Staff and Valets were the BEST. The valets was always checking to make sure we knew our way around and offering suggestions. Jessie (I think was his name) was helpful and friendly. All of the staff was great! The room had a couple of small issues that didn't bother us enough to report until we left. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The biggest issue was noise. There were sirens constantly throughout the night. We were on the 11th floor facing Union and it was noisy. We could hear street noise a lot. We got little sleep both nights and we were there for the St. Jude Marathon so rest was important. We were also by the elevators so we heard a lot of noise from the late night party goers. Other than that, it was really a good place to stay. The rooms could use refrigerators though! It was a good value for the rate. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, very friendly staff The staff was wonderful, the beds where comfortable, short walk to Beale street. My only complaint is we had to wait a long time to get hot water. We called front desk and they sent a real nice repairman up, he told us it would get to us just had to let run a long time, he was right it finally got hot. Just a lot of wasted water we were on fourth floor. Overall the stay was pleasant would stay again. December 11, 2014
