The ambiance of the hotel was designed perfectly;y to make you feel comfortable. The location of the hotel was in walking distance and not to close for the mass crowd that indulge on Beale Street. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Yellow Stained Sheet This is the third time that I stayed at this hotel near Beale St. Pretty standard room w/ OK bathtoom. Dated a bit. Typically, I wouldn't be writing a review; but, when it was time to turn the sheets down the first thing I noticed was a urine colored stain on the fitted steet. It was late, Iwas too tired to request another room. Had I noticed the sheet in this condition first thing, I would have called the front desk and ask to be moved into another room. A yellow stain on white sheets is quite noticable except for the house keeper. If you walk to Beale and look like a 'touron' you'll be approached by lots of folks wanting a hand-out. Be prepared to listen to some interesting stories. Usually, they're the same story from different people. January 21, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bathroom has magic light The light in the bathroom would take up to 10 minutes to turn on after flipping the switch. The Maintenance Man, who responded promptly, called it the Magic Light. He advised that they had replaced most of the parts in the light fixture and in the switch and the light still didn't work right. He recommended we keep the light on all the time, which we did. The ice machine which was right outside our room wasn't working. My fiancee and I stopped in the Sports Bar but didn't stay long because it lacked sports bar atmosphere. The best part about this hotel is the convenient location to Beale Street. January 5, 2015
