Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible! Terrible! The room had a refrigerator cabinet, but no refrigerator. I decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant bar. The bartender was very pleasant. There were two choices of soup on the menu; French Onion and the Soup of the Day. I ordered the French Onion. After a while, the bartender came back from the kitchen and said they did not have French Onion soup. I asked what the soup of the day was, and she said they do not have a soup of the day. I moved to the entrée section and ordered a meal which included a Caesar salad. After approximately 45-minutes, the bartender brought my salad; however it was not a Caesar salad. Approximately 10-minutes later, I got the right salad. Close to an hour waiting for a salad, how ridiculous. The meal was fair. During the course of my meal, four other patrons sat at the bar and one gentlemen asked about the happy-hour. The bartender explained that there was no happy-hour that she knew of. He replied that when he checked in, the desk clerk advised him of the happy-hour. The bartender checked with the front desk and since the desk clerk said there was a happy-hour, they honored it for that party. I asked how about me for happy-hour and I was not honored. In conclusion, your kitchen staff doesn’t know what they’re doing and the desk clerk doesn’t know what he/she is doing. The only one that knew what she was doing was the bartender. December 23, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad. Gentleman who picked me up at the airport was really nice and even took my luggage over to the room. The woman who checked me in was awesome. Room was average for age of the hotel. No hot water for shower which is a major complaint I see over and over in the reviews. It wasn't ICE cold, but it was cold. Breakfast was good. The ex-Navy cook makes great omelets! Recommend for a quick stay over especially if you are headed to or from the airport (and don't care about hot showers). :) December 18, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by December Stay in Memphis The stay was a typical stay at a Holiday Inn. You pay for breakfast. They business center is a table in the main lobby, not clearly marked. The computer and printer worked well. The room, except for the bathroom, was a comfortable room. The bathroom was in very poor shape. There was a stiff, dirty wash cloth left hanging on the shower curtain rail. There was human hair left in the shower. The closet which shares a wall with the bather and shower had a big wet spot on the floor. The carpet was wet. As I checked out, I identified the problems I encountered and they immediately dispatched maintenance and housekeeping to the room to take care of the problems. December 17, 2014
