Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and staff We competed in the First Lego Competition. The Hotel is on the Memphis campus. The front desk staff was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant. They let me know they had a shuttle if needed. January 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nasty Dance Floor The dance floor was sticky and gummy. We could tell it has not been cleaned in years. The rest of the stay was fine. January 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Univerisity of Memphis visit Love this location! The bathroom Shower could use a little bit of attention to detail. January 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent experience The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. And best of all the staff went out of their way to be helpful. January 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great room, great service The front desk service was outstanding, and the room was nicer than I expected. All rooms face in to the lobby, and the lobby is a large open space. So when there is an event in their event center, the noise radiates throughout the hotel and into the rooms. Be sure to ask if there is going to be an event during your stay, and avoid it if you want some sleep. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Memphis Business Trip I overall found the Hotel to be very nice and a great value for the money. The staff were friendly and curteous. the room was a fantastics value for the cost, I've stayed at other prrperties and paid more for less sqaure footage. The only drawbacks were: The bar was very small and did not serve food. The restaraunt ran out of serveal items. The last morning I was there, they ran out of coffee cream at 7am, there were no english muffins during my stay and some of the deserts they advertised were not available. I'll stay there again but will try out some other restaraunts. January 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great facility and great location well maintained hotel, rooms above average for Holiday Inn. You usually don't get this level of product and service at a small hotel. Located right at The University of Memphis and easy to get downtown January 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suggestions for Educational Improvement I was pleased to note that students participated in most of the activities associated with the operation of the Inn; However, I noticed that the housekeeping staff members did not seem to be students. I recommend that every student begin his or her education at the housekeeping or laundry or plant maintenance levels. I feel that this experience will foster a greater appreciation for the relatively menial but absolutely essential tasks and would give the prospective innkeepers a greater appreciation for the hard and often unrewarding work that these dedicated employees provide. K-Mart introduced its new MBAs to the retail experience by putting them on the floor as retail clerks. I think that a similar introduction would keep prospective students grounded in the real world as they realize how important every member is to the overall team effort. January 5, 2015
