Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking rooms I understand that it is hard to make smoking rooms smell as nice as the non-smoking but if the hotel were to keep the air on in the room then they won't be stagnant & smell bad. That is my only complaint about this hotel. I stay here 2-3 times a year & my stay is always awesome. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. February 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service Hands down, best customer service I have ever received at an IHG hotel. Victoria at the front desk was very professional and epitomized what I think customer service should be. Not only did she call me the day I was suppose to arrive to see how the storm may have impacted my travels, but she was also able to allow me to check in early when I did arrive the next day. She was very informative and courteous throughout my stay. Customer service in the restaurant was also excellent. I was served by Carol and another individual whose name I can't recall. They were very sweet and accommodating. The breakfast food was great. I look forward to trying dinner on my next visit. The hotel was very clean and updated nicely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. February 5, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Given a Room that already had an occupant First, during my check in I was given a room which I went up to and found that a person was already living in the room. When I went down to the front desk they were at a loss as to how this could have occurred. Then rectified the situation by giving me an upgrade to a suite. My question is how could the hotel allow me access to another room that was full of someone else's belongings to include laptop comupter, think of the liability and security issues this would pose. Secondly, as a Platinum member I was entitled to an upgrade to a better room if it was available to begin with. Not satisfied with the dinner in the lounge, go some where else, you will have another birthday while you wait on service. February 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent dining options nearby We ended up staying here because the Holiday Inn Express was being remodeled and all they had was full size beds. My husband is 6'4" and is too tall for a full so we went to the Holiday Inn. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very nice. I liked that there were so many dining options close by. We went to Red Lobster and had a great server. January 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely poor breakfast service For a paid breakfast, the service was very poor. It took half an hour for the order to be taken, and partial, poorly cooked, cold order was served after another half an hour. We had ordered just cereal, toast, and pancakes. The toast was completely forgotten. The waitress even forgot to provide a pen for the credit card receipt and we were ignored several times when we asked her for one. The result - a 90 minute breakfast for just cereals (and that too with the original choice offered being not available later). Overall, a very bad experience. Will not stay in this hotel again.
