The room was great. the pool was nice, the exercise room was good enough. The big problem came with check in. I was part of a third party booking. I had confirmation of the booking, but when the hotel staff went to find the reservation, they indicated it was booked for the month previous. (which was prior to the date I booked with the third party). But rather than dealing with it, I was told I had to call the third party, and they would have to fix it. I was on hold for 40 minutes before getting through. I was assured that the information I had, was exactly what the hotel was sent, and they would look into it immediately. I had to wait another 20 minutes before asking if the matter was resolved. I got the same response from the clerk. Luckily, it was shift change. The new clerk took one look at my paperwork and immeidately concluded it was the hotel's mistake. She put me in a room and promised she would take care of it. It would have been nice if the first clerk, and all those she asked had the same response.

The hotel was clean, nice size rooms. Bedding was comfortable and the towels were soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was the first time I stayed at this location and look forward to staying there in the future. The location was close to the interstate, shopping and food.

This hotel is in a GREAT location. Right off the freeway and down the road from many fast-food restaurants, Walmart, Home Depot, Target and many more.
The entrance was big and very inviting. It was grandiose to me which was nice. You felt exactly what the email said…”now it’s time to relax!” The lobby was comfortable. They had a huge flat screen TV showing the news that everyone was glued to. They had places where many people can sit but yet you didn’t feel crowded or intruding upon.
Thru-out my stay, I saw many different groups of people that would come to sit in the lobby to have mini meetings and coffee whatever…that is actually nice to me. That tells me that people are comfortable there…that is always a plus!
My check in was with ease. Josele was so helpful and she kept telling me…”Because you are a reward member you get…..” I loved that…it may sound cheesy for me to say that but I loved that because I was already tired, irritated and exhausted from the 6hr drive from Vegas. So it actually made me feel important. THANK YOU JOSELE!
The room was nice. The only issue was that they only have FULL size beds or open KING size. I am assuming I was because the hotel may be a little older. They at least had a good size roll-away which helped with the sleeping arrangements. So that made up for that.
The amenities in the room were GREAT…we had free WIFI (for being members! Thank you!). we had a mini FULL size fridge with freezer…that was lovely! Then we had a microwave..that was a must. They also have coin laundry on the 2nd floor…that is always a MUST for me because we are usually traveling due to soccer and I don’t like my boys wearing dirty clothes. Not very many hotels have laundry..so thank you for this option.
The bathroom..was clean, clean towels ..all white towels…they even had one pack of cleansing makeup wipes…I thought that was different..but cool. And of course, the blow dryer, coffee coffee maker and cups.
Now the shower…LOL…if I stand facing the shower head and out my hands on my hips like I was a superhero…then my elbows could touch the wall and shower curtain. That was how small it was in there. (once again…probably due to older hotel)…however..the shower head which happens to be a RAIN SHOWER…MADE UP FOR ALL OF THAT!! It was AMAZING, like standing under a mini WARM waterfall!...i don’t like touching shower curtains, but I didn’t want to get out!!! You maybe should put in a little more soap…but that’s not a deal breaker. I bring my own anyways.
The other cool plus to the room was the balcony ..my husband smokes cigars (yes we were in a non-smoking room) but all he had to do was go on the balcony instead of all the way downstairs and outside. Now it was a little noisy from the traffic, but nothing to the point I couldn’t handle. We were next to a freeway. But I stayed in room 635 just in case you are thinking about staying there and don’t think you can handle the noise. Me and my boys all slept thru it!
My only suggestion would be to have a little card to tell you how to call house-keeping and the front desk.
I forgot to mention the best thing EVER...they have a table -top 4 plug adapter!!! talk about NOT having to move furniture to find the plugs!!! BLESSING in disguise!
So the only amenities I really use is the WIFI, the laundry room and the FREE breakfast. This lounge for the breakfast was really, really, big with nice comfortable chairs and big tables. But they were missing the infamous pancake maker. They did have a waffle maker though. So that was yummy. They only had one person there seating us (Kaitlyn) and one buss-guy (Raul). They were nice and kind.
They also have a bar at night where you can watch the game, more news and basically just lounge. I love all the areas to lounge at and just relax when you don’t want to be cooped up in the room.
The pool looks inviting, but I don’t swim in pools or Jacuzzis…besides it was too cold to. The pool at least was clean and spacious.
They have a business office where you can get some work done if needed. That was nice with some privacy. All in all I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you again Holiday Inn.
This part was a little tricky as I had the gov’t rate, but after surfing the internet, I found out that the gov’t rate was more EXPENSIVE than the regular room rate. April suggested that I speak with management when I check out. So I spoke with Donnise who get me taken care of for my stay. It took a moment because many patrons were either calling for her or needed to speak with her and I wasn’t really in a rush…(im in customer service too, so I encouraged her to take care of them first.).
They do have rapid check out and that too can make it easy. All is all it was a pleasant weekend.

This is a nice, full service hotel. We stayed in a suite, and when the heat didn't work in the first one, they moved us quickly. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well heated.

Don't usually travel without my family so I was a little nervous at first. The staff made me feel really welcomed and the room was great! The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were amazing!! My room was next to the outdoor pool and even though I was six floors up it was quite noisy, however, it did not continue past hours so I was able to sleep great.

I am so unhappy with the way I was treated. I don't know if I will ever stay at another holiday inn ever again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dan888 Lacking in customer service
My three day stay was not what I would call a vacation. Upon arrival, we went to our room only to find the shower knob not working properly. In fact I had to call maintenance just to come and shut it off. After working on it for an hour We left them in the room to work on it while we visited friends. When we arrived back, there was no nozzle and we had to be moved to a different suite. So needless to say, the first night was not ideal. The next day the elevator was malfunctioning off and on yet another annoyance to deal with.
The front desk had a two customer care people who seemed anything but interested in offering “friendly” advice or answers to questions. And After wanting the manager to call me…well I am still waiting for that to happen. No return call? That, is horrible customer service. I am not willing to pay for my first night , since the maintenance people were in my room almost as much as we were.
And just to show that I am not all about the bad, your front desk person on Wednesday night, unfortunately, I did not get his name, was exceptional. He welcomed us and walked us to the pool area to show what building we were in. In addition, he made a follow-up call to see if we needed anything- that to me was A-one service, exactly what I look for. Perhaps the manager and other front desk people could learn by his example. Also I must compliment the maintenance group, they were timely and friendly.
