Deben especificar en la oferta de este hotel, que no es un hotel "estandar" sino diseñado especificamente para familiares de los pacientes del hospital, informar que esta dentro del hospital y no es de facil acceso.
Lo peor del hotel es que as habitaciones y pasillos HUELEN A HOSPITAL!
Ni siquiera cuenta con un restaurant o tiendita donde puedas comer algo decente, la unica opcion es salir al Starbucks que esta justo al lado de URGENCIAS!
En fin, estoy seguro que para el mercado objetivo cumple su objetivo, pero para un cliente platino que usa sus hoteles para viajes de negocios es lo peor que le ha pasado con cualquier hotelnde IHG. Tenia reserva por tres noches pero solo estuve una y me cambie a otro hotel por todo lo comentado.

This hotel noted its was in a hospital complex which was fine. The problem wasn't that it was around hospitals, it was that it was a hospital. Only 2 floors were the hotel and the other floors was the hospital. It's one thing to be next to a hospital and another to stay in a hospital. There was no vending on the "hotel floors" so i had to do to the waiting room of one of the hospital floors to get a coke. There was no real lobby. The restaurant was a WINGS which is essentially a Shoney's/ Denny's level restaurant. I was looking forward to a nice meal in a nice restaurant by the time I got there which would be expected in a decent hotel. This was not the case.
Also, sometimes the front desk wasn't staffed with bilingual staff.
This for a full service Holiday Inn is quite poor. I choose it because it was close to where I needed to be in Mexico City and luckily for only 2 days. Needless to say, the only people staying here are family of people using the hospital. This is definitely not obvious in the overview and the quality is not a hotel but some hotel rooms for the hospital. The room itself was fine.
Overall, very disappointed and feel deceived by the description.

Las habitaciones son amplias y confortables, la tranquilidad del hotel contrasta con el entorno donde encuentras grandes centros comerciales a escasos minutos. Es muy seguro al estar dentro del complejo médico con vigilancia las 24 horas. Puedes salir caminando al restaurante o la cafetería. Un oasis en medio de la ciudad.

I have stayed in 6 or 7 holiday properties in Mexico City; Medica Sur is the best quality, clean, warm, and modern hotel I have found.
Only one pet peeve: Holiday does not have computer access to bills or email delivery of copy of bill with itemized charges and summary. Most other hotels have this convenience for the business traveler.

This is a beautifully appointed property right inside one of the most prestigious hospitals in Mexico City. It is luxuriously comfortable; there is a 24 hour Starbucks right on the property. The hotel restaurant is actually a Wings franchise that's not exactly wonderful, but the Meridian restaurant inside the lobby of the hospital is very good. I'd stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!

I did not like having a different price each day it felt as if I was in Las Vegas where weekends you have a price and weekdays another. I will say the rooms were very comfortable and since I was with my son in the hospital I really rested when I got to my room.. The people at the front desk were very helpful and patient with me when I complained about the different prices per day. I would stay again in the hotel if needed.
