Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great Service Mexico is known for its friendly people and this hotel is full of friendly staff. Jose Antonio at the reception desk takes care of you as if you were family. I stay at this hotel 3 to 4 times a year and the people is what keeps me coming back. I hardly ever eat at the restaurant but everyone seems to know my name when I walk by, it's like being home. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Vacation in a Vacation While enroute to Huatulco my wife and I decided to have a small stop over in Mexico City as we wanted to visit the Museum of Anthropology. We chose the Hotel Zona Rosa as it was close to where we wanted to be. I was concerned when we arrived at the hotel (late at night) as it does not have great 'curb side appeal'. However once we were booked and settled in, we found the hotel excellent, the staff very helpful and the stay very enjoyable. Great value for the money. December 27, 2014

BUT MAYBE "STUCK-IN-TIME" IS A GOOD THING AFTER ALL... BECAUSE IT CAME WITH OLD FASHIONED, NOSTALGIC INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I STAYED IN A HOTEL THIS CLEAN, INCLUDING ALL PUBLIC AREAS, BUT ESPECIALLY MY ROOM AND BATHROOM. AND I'M A SOMEONE WHO NOTICES EVEN SLIGHT CLEANLINESS OMISSIONS. THIS HOTEL IS DATED BUT RUN FOR IT! I FELT THROWN BACK IN TIME WHEN PEOPLE ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE AND MADE YOU FEEL LIKE A HUMAN BEING RATHER THAN A DOLLAR SIGN. December 21, 2014
