Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rockhard bed - but otherwise nice. Nice hotel, easy access to everything. Walking distance (bring good shoes) to everything - 5 minutes away from stacks of nice restaurants, museums and sights. June 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by business trip This hotel is not the best location and amenities for a business trip June 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Stayed here, was able to walk to many of downtown area avoiding traffic. Easy to access public transit. Staff very helpful, room great and food fine June 5, 2014
June 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Discreto y cómodo. June 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Habitacion por encima del nivel esperado Equivocación en cobro de habitación en Check-Out y se tuvo que cobrar por dos veces. May 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, nice location Big room, located in a quite area, close to Reformaa 222 ( a shopping center) and different restaurants. Excellent service. May 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excelente Hotel Holiday Inn Zona Rosa. Durante mi estancia recibí una excelente atención al cliente, aunado al confort de la habitación. March 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay This hotel is a perfect base for exploring Mexico DF. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood that never felt unsafe at all. Our room was spacious, clean and had a lovely terrace with potted plants on it. The breakfast in the hotel's bar/restaurant was excellent and good value. Zona Rosa is not the trendiest district, but there are lots of restaurants nearby and in any case, Condesa & Roma are only a 10-15 minute cab ride away. The benefit of staying in Zona Rosa is that you can easily walk to the historic center from the hotel and are well connected to public transport (the metro and metrobus are in short walking distance). There's a beautiful little café with outside seating under trees just 100 meters to the right when exiting the hotel. The reception and restaurant staff was very friendly. Highly recommended. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Mexico Zona Rosa Le falta oscuridad a la habitacion para dormir tranquila, los muebles estan un tanto viejos, la caja fuerte deberia ser digital y no con una llave February 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good place Well located Excellet for business and leisure. Well located. If you want to stay at the Downtown Mexico City and avoid the traffic problems and chaos (protests, riots,,,) chose this place. Just some blocks from nightlife neighborhood "Zona Rosa". January 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Suites, Excellent Location Very convenience for business or pressure, the hotel is located on a quiet street, yet, very close to restaurants and night entertainment. The suites are big and very conformable, multiple TV channels and very reliable taxi service in front of hotel This is one of my favorite hotels in Mexico City. January 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in Dec 2013 It was indeed a very comfortable stay at the hotel in late December. Checking in late on a Friday night was very quick and the information provided at the front desk by Mr. V was very helpful. One of our bags was forgotten and left behind in the lobby, and it was brought to our room before we realized it was missing. Our family of four stayed for four nights and were very satisfied with the house keeping. The front desk was very helpful when we sought information for getting medical help for my wife after she twisted her ankle and needed a walking stick for the rest of her stay. They were also helpful in finding reliable taxis which allowed us to do as much sightseeing as possible in her impaired condition. We even did the floating garden tour at Xochimilco. My wife and I liked the decor of the hotel as well. January 11, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable stay Taxi drivers don't know the proper location of this hotel, they confuse with Holiday Inn located at Reforma Avenue... I was not able to sleep because of too much noise coming from upstairs, seemed like if somebody were dragging chairs on the floor... Awake since 06:30 am..!! On the other hand I must recognize that people is kind and friendly...!! December 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not for smokers I have purchased a smoking room and was forced to get to the balcony every time.... Alright I do generally not smoke in the room when I have the possibility to get on a balcony but just on a limited basis when I work on my PC!!! But being forced to do so, even this room was offered as a smoking room I am getting upset since it should be definitely noted or advised when making the booking/reservation. Also the poor location of it in the "zona roas" which in real is far away from where things happens gives a bad smell to the hotels name.... I consider zona rosa should not be promoted as is in the description..... December 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well located was good located in Zona Rosa area... not in a full transit street but in a quiet one, the staff is the best! November 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Very good service, staff very friendly. Rooms are spacious, but air conditioning only in the master bedroom, if you need to stay in the living room, that might be too hot, for this time it was good, but summer it might get too hot. As a suggestion to hotel staff, you might offer ham and cheese in you breakfast table. September 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than Expected Everything was perfect :). The service was nice and the rooms where so cute and luminous and clean. We (my cousin and me) did not expected to have such a nice experience. There was no amenities but everything else was nice. September 3, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by unfair You have a large city here. The taxi driver delivered me to a different hotel. Only after I checked in and it was too late (two blocks away), your company would not cancel my reservation and you took my money. You then promised to send me a voucher to stay there at any time in the future, but no voucher was sent. I'm sorry that I cannot give your company a better review. Your company should have contingencies for clients under extraordinary conditions. So, unless the voucher does come, I probably won't ever book in a Holiday Inn again. July 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Great location in the Zona Rosa. Lively area within walking distance to many of the museums. We usually stay near the Zocalo but decided to give this area a try. We would definitely recommend this hotel and this area to anyone gay or straight. June 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average, Pleasant Staff was pleasant enough. The cab service the hotel called charged us 3 times the price that was quoted, which makes for an uncomfortable experience and an argument. Breakfast was nice, coffee very tasty. There are nicer hotels for same price. I chose this because it was a very last minute decision to leave for Mexico City. Not EXACTLY in Zona Rosa March 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Recommend top floor if you can wait for hot water I looked at the 3rd floor and it was kind of dark and stuffy because other buildings block the light and view. The top (6th) floor is light and airy with a nice view and balcony. Make sure to open the windows to let it air out. The only problem on the top floor is that the shower takes literally almost 10 minutes to get hot. The tech could not fix it because the water heater is in the basement. So plan accordingly. Room is nice and big with a separate living room area. Very good central location is safe and quiet with nearby cafes and a 7Eleven convenience store across the street. For transportation ask the front desk to call a "taxi de sitio" instead of taking the private car service at the hotel. Much cheaper and just as safe. January 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by its a great place I was there on business, having previously stayed at the Coyocatun (mistake). The staff was friendly, the room comfortable, and overall a comfortable HI to stay. It was convenient to the Zona Rosa, which I walked to every day. I will try a newer HI next time, to compare the ZR resort to this one. For the price, it cant be beat. December 10, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Check in took half and hour! I have been in several Holiday Inn and never been hold up so much at the check in, even though I have a Priority Club #. The iron in the room did not worked well, I asked for it to be replaced but it never happen. At the check out, I requested an invoice (factura) from my stay. The person at the lobby took my email and promise to send it but it has not happened. November 28, 2012
