Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Confirmed and prepaid booking but no room. terrible service I arrived at the hotel at 11pm to find that my confirmed and prepaid booking was not to be honored because the hotel was too full and they had overbooked. I booked directly through IHG site. I had to be sent to alternative accommodation which caused great problems with my business trip logistics especially as the planning included other colleagues and we had chosen to stay at the same hotel. The staff were dishonest when they suggested I stay at another Holiday Inn "just 10 min away by taxi". This was not the case. It took 25 min at 23h30 (quiet roads) to get there, and 45 min to get back in the morning. My trip was complete chaos and stressful, all because Holiday Inn gave my confirmed and prepaid room away. How can we trust booking confirmations in future? How do I know whether there will be a room waiting for me when I turn up? And the attitude of the staff was shockingly bad. No apology. No consideration for my inconvenience. I cannot use the term "service" as it was non-existent. I will never attempt to stay at this hotel again. January 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, nice room great service Stayed overnight for an early departure from Garibaldi. (5 mins walk). Room very good, reception excellent. However, as others have commented the noises from the street particularly the trams is intrusive (even on the 5th floor). . Score would have been excellent if room had increased glazing for sound proofing. January 16, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 服务人员非常热情,床铺也很舒服 首先,没有出现有的评价中说的铁路的声音大,影响睡眠的情况,房间非常安静。酒店服务人员非常热情,给予我们提供了很大的帮助,无论是指路,还是提前退房,还因为我们离店过早无法吃早餐,酒店人员还帮我们准备了breakfast box,便于我们携带在路上吃。浴室总体而言不错,唯一觉得有点失望的是洗漱用品,也就是快捷酒店的水平,和中国的holiday inn完全不是一个档次。房间也比中国的小,但是欧洲也差不多都是这样啦,这点不作为评价了。另外,酒店离地铁站大约要走10分钟,不带着行李没问题,带着大件行李,如果是去中央车站的话,打车是9块钱,可以接受。 January 6, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stingy Hotel location is good, room given was tiny, but comfortable enough. Travelling quite much in other Holiday Inn hotels and comparing them the worst feeling was how the hotel is stingy about simple hospitality, no water in the room, don't even think about fruit or other things. As a Platinum member I was somehow treated much better in other places. When I asked why in my colleagues room they put water and in mine none the answer was because the other room is Superior (it was upgraded) and mine was Standard, which is a kind of absurd. So after claiming they sent two bottles of water (total cost for the hotel probably something like 30 cents local currency) which were not renewed during the whole 4 days stay, in none of the rooms. So all in over good location, hotel is ok, but letting feel people welcome is another story. December 9, 2014
