Front desk staff were very helpful. The lady at the pool reception was fantastic--she made my kids feel very comfortable.

Excellent value, clean and friendly hotel. There were 3 of us sharing a room which made it very good value, although the mattress on the sofa bed left a lot to be desired. I was told the double bed was v comfortable - will make sure I 'bags' that next time! Overall a great night and we will definitely be doing it again.

My husband and I had a wonderful 1 night stay at Hilton Milton Keynes. We booked the hotel due to it's proximity to Bletchley Park and booked an executive double room. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The suite was clean, comfortable and quiet - just what we want from a hotel room. We had room service and the meal we had was very tasty and also visited the swimming pool.
We would recommend the hotel to everyone. Everyone we met to the receptionists to the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and warm. The service was consistently good. The only suggestions we would make to the hotel is to upgrade the pool complex. it is perfectly fine, but does not make the high standard and feel of the rest of the hotel. There is a sauna, but no Jacuzzi.
To sum up our experience - clean, comfortable, friendly, well maintained, quiet. This is first Hilton we have stayed at and it won't be the last.

Overall experience was very good however, I don't believe that the rate paid per night was good value for money.
Linked to this was the requirement to pay additional charges to use the internet.
Overall, poor value for money.

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago as I was in Milton Keynes for business. Great location from where I was working - I've never had a 2min commute before.
From what I can remember, it was a fairly nice hotel and the nicest one I had stayed in up until that point. On arrival I was given a box of chocolates and a bottle of water which was lovely!
The food was okay - it wasn't that memorable to be honest. One thing I do remember is how disappointed I was by the gym and pool. The equipment was old and outdated. The changing rooms weren't amazing either.
The hotel itself was nice though and i would consider staying again.

I was supposed to stay for 8 nights but due to the poor condition of the rooms( found spiders in my room even after getting it cleaned) had to leave the room in 4 nights. The in room service was horrible, the food was served cold. when asked for refund was not given, even though the food was not eaten.

They jack the prices up to unheard of prices and there is no free wifi you be paying thru your teeth for everything, also plan to wait a while for house keeping or the front desk to answer the phone when calling from in your room

Very happy with the whole weekend.. one friends 50th birthday and next night we celebrated a couples 40th wedding anniversary. Staff were excellent and helped out with a couple of issues and couldnt have done enough for us. Every member of staff very friendly and pleasant, location is great for the shops and transport links, which is why we've come back to this hotel for our get-together.
Cant recommend highly enough.

This is a nice new hotel and we should have had a very enjoyable stay. On arrival we had to request our twin beds to be rearranged as they had been pushed together with the bed-side table to one side which meant when sat on the bed the wall lamp was resting on your shoulder. Worse was to come when using the bathroom we discovered that it had not been cleaned properly, there was faeces around the toilet bowl and on the seat and old bottles of shampoo etc were still in the bath. We were going out so contacted reception who apologised, said they would clean the room while we were out and offered us complementary drinks for when we returned. On our return we were horrified to find that although part of the toilet bowl had been cleaned, faeces still remained on the seat and the bottles were still in the bath. We were disgusted, our frustration was now ruining what was a family weekend away and we then had to sit in reception while our room was again cleaned. The staff were again very apologetic, we did receive a 50% discount on our room (though in the morning when we checked out it was not offered we had to ask) but we still remain incredulous at the shocking standard to cleaning in this hotel. Someone else's faeces on the toilet seat that we had to keep looking at because the cleaning staff were not doing their job.

We visit this hotel around 3 times a year for a big shopping weekend. Staff are always helpful and food and drinks good variety . Rooms good, would like the option of not staying on same floor as families with young children , we found our second night to be a bit noisy with 2 large families of children running around near us till nearly 10, we are light sleepers. Usually ask for quiet room, but didn't check when offered the upgrade so will ask in future. Otherwise, all good.

Rang the hotel the morning after check out to say I had left
A t shirt in the room. Said they would ring me back. They didn't. Rang again the next day. Said they would ring back. They didn't.
This happened for 5 straight days, before somebody put me through
To housekeeping who said they didn't have it. Have a number of future bookings lined up which I am now inclined to cancel(and pass onto my company what has happened as they are a big customer)

Lovely hotel in a great location inside MK centre. Very hand from the train station and close to all local shopping / eateries.
Room was lovely and I had a really good nights sleep. Atmosphere in the central area was excellent, very roomy and open while I enjoyed Starbucks or breakfast there.
Only downside was some confusion that WI-FI has been rolled out to all club members in 2014 yet there was an attempt to charge me for this. Also you only get your newspaper here as Platinum, not as gold or club as I have found in other Holiday Inn's.
Apart from that, a lovely and relaxing stay.

Let me start by saying I travel all over the world for work. I have been to many parts of Europe, Asia, and North America. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in a hotel stay than I was here (and my 4 other co-workers agree). We stayed here for 2 weeks, so there are many things to write about....
-The first night I checked, I unpacked and showered and then noticed there was not safe in my room. I went to the front desk and asked and they said they could bring me one. About an hour later they called me to tell me I need to switch rooms if I want a safe that bad. I was not thrilled because I had already unpacked so they said they would be bring me a cart. They then proceed to knock on my door and tell me they couldnt find the cart. Unacceptable.
-The pool and steam room were closed the entire 2 weeks I was there. They did not bother to mention this when I checked in.
-Two times during my two week stay my keys did not work. I had to go to the front desk and get them reprogrammed. I have never had this problem at any other hotel.
-There was an employee who was an older lady in the breakfast room that was extremely rude. She would be visually frustrated when you asked for your coffee to go.
-We went to London for the weekend and asked the front desk the best way to get there. They were absolutely no help and never offered assistance. We left our bags at this hotel for the weekend and when we returned, they could not find them. Then they realized they were in a locked room and the door handle fell off!!!!! The maintenance guy needed to be called and fix the door handle before we got our bags. We waiting about an hour to finally get our bags after being exhausted from siteseeing all weekend.
-The internet was supossed to be included in our corporate rate, but the front desk staff told us it wasnt. We had to get out our computers and physically show them proof. Then to use the internet, you get receipts that last 24 hours with a login ID and passwork. It is a pain reconnecting every 24 hours with a new receipt.
-The rooms are a bit outdated
-I still have not received points for my stay from 3 weeks ago.

First time stay so first impression only...
good location and comfortable rooms.
But note: worry-some parking rules in this area so be careful to check you have covered your parking! The additional service charges on food make it surprisingly expensive to eat in. I wasn't offered any upgrade or even a paper.
