Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So comfortable! This was my first trip to Montana and I can't wait to come back! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were insanely comfortable! Felt as good as my mattress at home. Great place to come back to each evening. The hotel was located near town so I was able to walk around and enjoy downtown Missoula. May 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place to stay Location is great, right on the river. A good (20 min) walk to the University. Shuttle service. Clean, well kept. Staff were extremely accommodating. As a business traveler/student, would recommend more computers and printers, as well as obtaining Microsoft Office for compatibility. Overall, a nice place to stay. May 18, 2013

My son and I appreciated the gym equipment which is more extensive than most places I've stayed in th past. Also, I have a hard time sleeping in hotels often because the pillows are horrible. I was really pleased with the variety of pillows in my room so that I could actually get comfortable. May 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Will stay again Great location. Hotel was nice and they gym was better than many hotel gyms - some actual strength training equipment! Ate dinner on the patio one night and breakfast in the restaurant one morning. Food quality was good and prices were reasonable. Breakfast was a little slow, so don't recommend it if you're in a hurry. The room was nice & has "real" cable TV. Water pressure and shower head were phenomenal! (Don't let the low water pressure in the sink fool you.) The only thing that was weird was a vibration in the floor of my room. Sometimes it was very noticeable, others not so much. It was never enough of an issue to make me request a new room, and I feel confident I was over the HVAC unit or something. Will just ask about this next time I visit and avoid it. Free WiFi! The king size bed was comfortable, the sleeper couch worked great, and the room service was wonderful and reasonably priced for what we got. The shower had a curved curtain bar, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you for a great stay. May 10, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No response when issue presented Overall I would have given this hotel a better rating except for two things. 1) On my second day there the housekeeping staff used my toilet to do #2 while I was out. Based on the disgusting evidence left behind I'd say whoever did it had some stomach problems that day. I wasn't sure what to say about it and though I was totally grossed out. I felt bad for whomever it was and figured they were already having a pretty bad day. I went to to store bought some cleaning supplies and gloves and re-cleaned the toilet myself. However the more I thought about the incident the more it bothered me, so when I checked out I mentioned it to the front desk staff. They acted like it wasn't really a big deal. So when I got home I called and was told I would get a call back. I never got one. I emailed the customer service email twice and still no response. This alone ensures that I will never stay at that hotel again. I realize there are problems and situations that arise, however there is no excuse for ignoring a customer's complaints. 2) The food was overpriced and not very good at all. May 7, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad customer service Filled out the survey. Indicated several problems with customer service. Now you send; "We hope you enjoyed your stay at Holiday Inn MISSOULA DOWNTOWN. We invite you to share your experience on our website with other guests by writing a review about your stay". Do you read your results from your survey??? Room was nice, food was fair, but customer service was poor. Really need listening skills. I booked two rooms for two nights. When I arrived I had one room with two beds, had to get another room and thankfully there was one available. I was on a buisness trip and secured the reservation with my personal credit card. I distinctly asked to direct bill my company for the room(s). Was told they would, but upon checkout my credit card was billed for both rooms. The whole thing was just a nightmare, I hope I got it resolved?? May 1, 2013
