Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highly recommend The staff is extremely attentive and eager to please. The location in the town is absolutely perfect, due to its proximity to the river and the town. There is a lovely patio facing the river which, seasonly, gives guests an opportunity to sit outside in a beautiful, natural environment with drinks, food and excellent service. Also, the ability to take a walk with excellent coffee in hand that has been supplied by the very sweet staff! Thank you, Holiday Inn in Missoula, Montana! August 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Hot tub and a quiet location First hotel in Missoula that I've stayed in that has a working hot tub! It was quiet, convenient and clean. The restaurant was nice, wish it was open a little later at night as we didn't get in until 10pm and hadn't had dinner yet. But overall, it was a great stay. August 24, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 A place to crash The best thing I can say about the Holiday Inn in Missoula is also the worst: there was nothing about it that really stood out. That's actually a very good thing, for a hotel. Particularly when all you really need it for is as a place to sleep and get some grub during a business trip. Overall the room was clean and comfy, though the bathroom was a bit small. The TV was substandard - sure it was HD, but a low-grade model, small, with horrid cable service. The worst part was there was no option for external inputs for a PC, nor a dvd player. So, when it came time, all I did was use my laptop as my media device. The best part about the hotel was the location. Missoula is a charming town, and the hotel was centrally located to downtown and the university. The location was fantastic. If I find myself in Missoula again (which will hopefully happen), I will probably stay here again. After all, it's a good place to crash in a great location. August 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 10:31 PM, Maintenance Man Just walks into room Has a wonderful surprise at 10:31 pm when the maintenance man thought he needed to just walk into our room without even knocking. Called down to the front desk, after explaining what happened they didn't even seem to feel bad about what happened. Toilet would barely flush, drain in the shower was clogged to the point it took hrs to drain.... Hotel seems to be in a bit of overall decline. August 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Might Need Earplugs This is where I always stay when I am in Missoula, which is usually multiple times a year. I love the location of the property. It is right on the river, has a nice shaded yard, and is close to all the downtown restaurants. There is a great deck for happy hour and good specials in the lounge. The property itself needs some updating, but for the most part it is ok. The lobby is kept up nicely and the meeting rooms are fine. The reason for my low review is because I am a light sleeper and usually request a quiet location. However, there must have been 10 trains that went by that night. It was incredibly loud. Either the Holiday Inn needs to provide earplugs for those rooms near the tracks, or replace the windows. Not only did we have trains coming by all night long, but the bed was terribly uncomfortable. I was incredibly soar the next day and had probably only gotten two hours of sleep total. I have never had this experience with this Holiday Inn or with any other Holiday Inn for that matter. Additionally, the next day, we went to use the pool. The pool was like ice and it was dirty. What is really sad is that the hot tub was also an ice bath and was dirty. There were no signs indicating that there was anything wrong with the pool when we went in, so my daughter jumped right into the pool and then jumped out as quickly as she could. August 21, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Experience My WORST EVER! I booked the Presidential Suite for my son's wedding night 1 1/2 months in advance and received a confirmation. When I checked in there was no mention that the room was not available. The room he received had only a sofa bed no regular bed at all. When I confronted the front desk of the error I was then told the Presidential Suite was not available. The only room available with real beds was a room with 2 double beds for his wedding night. I understand mistakes can be made, but when I receive a confirmation for my reservation I expect a telephone call, email or some advanced notification if that reservation can not be honored so that I could make other arrangement. This lack of communications is completely unacceptable. I will never stay at this hotel again. August 18, 2015
