Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Peetie1 Old Hotel That Needs a Total Makeover
Have stayed many times at the newer Holiday Inn Expresses and very pleased. This was a old Holiday Inn and will never stay there again. It is in need of a total makeover. Old outdated room, restaurant and lounge. Room did not feel comfortable and clean, almost a damp feeling and AC was loud and did not cool very well. Dust on the side tables in room.

From the time you enter, check-in and get your room, you concerns about your night are non-existent.You can re-energize for the next day.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HammoJSU Overall great experience
Room rate was very reasonable, rooms were clean, tub and air functioned great, plenty of hot water. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Representative sample of TV stations available although I can never get enough sports stations. Price of breakfast was reasonable as hotel restaurants go. Food was good for me but wife's pancakes were done enough for her. Easy access to interstate.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TMTraveler Better and Cheaper
I have never written a review on any site previously but I was prompted to do so by my experience last night. After a long day of driving with pets I was looking to a good night's sleep so I could continue my move/relocation. The place I had originally reserved because it was pet friendly was horrible. The room smelled dank and musty. I couldn't tolerate the smell enough to allow me to get a good night's rest. Thankfully I found the Holiday Inn across the street. Not only was the room/hotel pet friendly, smelled clean, bigger, better but it also ended up being $10 cheaper than my hotel reservation at the other place I had originally reserved. My compliments to Deborah who assisted me getting a room on short notice and having the courtesy to ask if I was a member of any specific organizations to save me a few bucks) and to Gerald and staff for keeping a clean, courteous hotel so I could a decent night's sleep to continue my travels safely.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dttwllr Visiting family in Mobile
In doing my research for a good IHG property in Mobile I saw several reviews about this property. "Great friendly staff; older - yet very well maintained property; large rooms; good food; awesome value" appeared over and over again. I must admit, all of the above are true. Great value for the money. I also highly recommend the additional ten dollars for two breakfasts for each day. Numerous breakfast options available and great quality food. I wish all holiday inn hotels with restaurants would pick up on this idea. I gave a 4 for room and comfort because we like the room around 68 degrees for sleeping and the air conditioner had trouble keeping the room below 70, but even with that issue I will be back the next time I visit my son attending college in Mobile.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jennifer70 Great location!
I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights for business. It's in a great location, lots of restaurants nearby, right off I-10. Gerald at the front desk was awesome! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, just don't go during Cinco de Mayo, when the hotel across the street played really loud music until 10:30 p.m.! THe ladies in the bar were great too. Also, the pool was relaxing and well taken care of.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by EdgarTC good service but poor physical condition
Hotel needs to be remodeled. No vent fan in bathroom so entire room was either damp, or if we ran the ac to get rid of the moisture it was too cold. Just an uncomfortable experience. Plenty of noise came through the door and walls too. On a positive note, the front desk was polite and efficient.
