Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 2nd times the charm I had a not so great first visit due to a couple of housekeeping oversights, but after a very prompt response from management, I gave the property a 2nd chance last week. It was much better the 2nd stay. They were kind enough to give me a couple of drink coupons to enjoy the hotel restaurant/bar so I decided to eat dinner there as well. The food was surprisingly good. I'm normally not a fan of in-hotel restaurants. I will definitely stay here again. One thing, the "firm" IHG pillows could use some refreshing, as could the shower head #mine was cracked, so you couldn't use the massage mode#. December 11, 2014

The free breakfast buffet was pitiful, but it was free. Not much selection or service. I would stay here again. December 1, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too many errors I had a prepaid reservation and arrived about 8:00 PM. The lobby was empty but beautifully decorated. The desk person never looked up and said it would be " a minute." She finally looked up, had trouble finding the reservation. There was no greeting and certainly no smile. My husband and went to the room carrying all of our bags as no cart could be found. Once at the door, it would not open. The inner bolt had engaged. I went to the desk again, had to wait, again. She called someone who came to the desk and doubted my story. He finally seemed to believe me and then went to get a tool. He returned and did not know how to use it. He and my husband figured it out together. We finally got into the room and got to watch the rest of the World Series. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was no call to see if all ok or sorry or anything. We had been offered a double prior to making entry. Next morning was our mistake. We went for breakfast thinking it was complimentary. The buffet was awful but thinking it was free did not complain. The sausage was dried out. The eggs were dried out. It had all of the components of free. Then we got a bill for $14.99. We laughed and the front desk eradicated the bill. Then I returned home and tried to write this review and it would not input properly or send. That wasted about 30 minutes. I will never stay at this unfriendly place again. I will go to Prattville instead. November 24, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty hotel but too many shortcuts There was no tub! A weekend, and breakfast ended at 9am. At 8:45am, barely any food to eat, and what was there, was cold. At 2am, 30 degrees and windy outside, had to wait 5 mins to get inside. The internet did not work. November 20, 2014
