Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service I have stayed at this property since it opened. The check in was poor, 6 people at front desk and only one was checking in customers. They changed my reservation to an inferior room. Poor breakfast buffet was $10.00 per person. Not as good as Express free breakfast. I travel to Montgomery 4 or 5 times a year and will find another property. January 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Staff My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn for 3 nights. We were impressed with the Front Desk Representative Chereel. She was very hospitable, professional and outstanding people soft skills. She made our stay very comfortable and memorable. We have never experienced the level of hospitality that Chereel offered in our behalf. In addition, we appreciated Robert Johnson shuttle driver services during our stay. I also must mention Ja'Lynn service in the Restaurant. He was kind, polite and attentive to our needs and we tipped him accordingly. Please know that those mentioned about are a asset to Holiday Inn and made our stay outstanding. As a result, whenever we come back to Montgomery Alabama we will only stay at Holiday Airport location! Thank You, Reginald Williams January 18, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Stayed at Montgomery Airport South Dec 27 - 30 2015 Menu does not change at the Magnolia lounge. Basketball teams stayed during this time period and seemed to be roomed all around me...very noisy. The breakfast was very subpar. Signs throughout the hotel boasting that the breakfast bar serves "All your favorites for only Ten dollars. If "All your favorites" means watery scrambled eggs and link sausage ONLY with NO orange juice, no cereal, no oatmeal no fruit, then a new definition needs be taught to the staff, who sat around, apparently taking their morning break. The Hotel,right next doors' breakfast, where I am staying for the remainder of my time while conducting business is superior in EVERY WAY, and is complimentary. Also, not really sure what Gold status brings. While checking in I noticed a glass-fronted refrigerator behind the young lady containing bottled water. I asked for a bottle of water and was told that the Market sold bottled water and "THIS WATER WAS FOR NEW IHG MEMBERS ONLY". Really? Really? Retrain the staff at this location, unless, of course, this is policy. January 7, 2016
