The staff was wonderful. We drove to Montreal, and arrived at 6am Friday morning, but weren't scheduled for check-in until 3pm. The hotel staff had a room available and was able to provide early check-in so we could get some needed sleep. Although, as an older hotel, it could use some updating, the rooms and hallways were comfortable and clean, despite the somewhat dated decor. The lobby, restaurant and lounge appear to have been recently updated and were very inviting. The pool area and atrium were excellent. Overall a very comfortable stay. We will likely stay here again if traveling to Montreal, and would recommend this hotel to our friends...

I needed to be in Montreal during Gran Prix race weekend so hotel rooms downtown were either unavailable or very, very expensive. This hotel out near the airport was available and with a free airport shuttle, I booked a room. While the architectural design reflects the fact that this was the first Holiday Inn built in Canada, the interior was very modern and contemporary and my room offered all the latest features. Lack of access to public transit I thought would be an issue but the front desk staff quickly arranged a cab for me when needed and Montreal cab drivers are very pleasant and get you to your destination quickly. I had two good meals at the well stocked bar which was staffed by a great bartender. Every hotel staff member was welcoming and always willing to assist in any way. for a longer stay in Montreal, I'll stay downtown but will consider a night in this hotel before flying home. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I really liked my room offering interior hallways but also opening onto an outdoor courtyard
