My main reason to stay in Morgantown was because my usual hotels in Reading were full, but the Holiday Inn Morgantown was so nice I continued there instead of moving back to Reading. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice quiet area. We were greeted immediately as we walked into the hotel by the desk staff. The area was large and very inviting. We were put in a room where there was no noise (made for a good night's sleep). The only thing I would like to have had a was a continental breakfast. August 31, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed We were here with 4 other couples. Our room smelled really bad of cigarette smoke. When I let the front desk know they said it was because it was near the stairwell. However, the hallway did not smell. We had to go buy Febreze to help it because it was so bad. I felt they really did not care and just made excuses. We left our room around 7:00 AM on Saturday and we returned around 6:00 that evening we found our door was not closed. Our room was cleaned and as far as I could tell nothing was missing. I let the front desk know and they said they would tell the head of the cleaning staff. Again I felt they really did not care. Just not impressed with the front desk staff. The manager was even there when I reported it and he did not speak up at all. On a good note, the blonde headed girl working the bar area was really nice and did a great job waiting on the 10 of us. August 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service, excellent care, a must stay This hotel was excellent. We learned it is run by a new manager, Mr. Yue, who is very welcoming and hospitable. We ran into him in the hall on several occasions. He was greeting guests, asking about our stay and travels, making sure we were comfortable. The staff was friendly too. The hotel was clean and safe. We were surprised at the personal attention the manager provided, as we have seldom gotten this type of attention in 4 and 5-star hotels. You were made to feel like a valued guest in someone's home. It was a happy environment, with all the employees so friendly, and you felt like part of it. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Halls were quiet. Will definitely come here again. August 21, 2014
