Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed here before Their website stated under restaurant that IHG members get a free beverage at the bar. The receptionist said everything changed on January 2014. When questioned about the website, she had to call management, I was presented a voucher for a free drink...very reluctantly. Be aware: If you are just a IHG "club member" you might not get anything. The accommodations are nice, but what makes this hotel my first choice are the staff. Each time I arrive they remember me and make me feel like a valued customer. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Felt like a queen When I walked in, the man at the desk was more than helpful, and check in was easy. The room was nice and had a microwave and refrigerator which I didn't expect for the price. The TV was easy to use, and room temperature was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. Ordering a wake up call and shuttle was simpler than I imagined, and the shuttle was there for me at 5:15 a.m. to catch an early flight at the airport. Wonderful all around. August 19, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shuttle I had a 11:40 PM flight arrival, so I called earlier in evening to confirm shuttle was still available. I was told yes and simply call when I arrived. Upon arrival at 11:40, I called and was told shuttle just left curb but would come back to get me upon drop off at hotel. I waited until 12:12 AM and shuttle did not arrive. Called hotel and was advised there was a shift change and they didn't realize I was waiting. Got picked-up at 12:23 and to hotel at 12:30 am. 40 minutes late at midnight made for an extra long day. Although I did not make a big deal about it, Staff at desk didn't really apologize. This was my 3rd stay over the past 5 months. PS: this survey requires a nickname, however is used by someone else previously, it rejects submission of this survey. I have entered 7+ names (frustrating) to get submitted August 1, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst IHG Experience Ever This place is not business traveler friendly. I stay in hotels 5 – 10 nights per month, and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Upon arrival on 3/17 around 10 pm, I was not greeted by the person at the front desk. Instead, I had to wait for him to finish texting his BFF before he acknowledged my presence. I had reservations for three rooms. I discovered that my colleagues were unable to get to the hotel due to cancelled flights, so I informed the kid at the desk of this situation, and I thought he cancelled their reservations. It was not until I got my credit card statement that I found I had been charged for the unused rooms. I called and spoke with the manager, who stated he would reverse the charges. I also called my credit card to dispute the charges, to avoid paying for the rooms I did not use, and was expecting a refund for on my next statement. I thought everything was handled at this point. I get a call from my credit card in June, stating that I would have to pay for the unused rooms, as the hotel was disputing my dispute, stating they had every right to charge me since they were not cancelled on time. I had this same scenario happen in the past (colleague with cancelled flight not able to make it, cancelled reservation after deadline) and the hotel did not charge then. This hotel fought me tooth and nail to pay for rooms I could not use. The breakfast buffet was subpar for a “full service” hotel, and the wait staff was slow and unattentive. July 31, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant needs a bit of work The front desk staff was phenomenal. The overall look of the hotel was great. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant was substandard. The service was slow and spotty. The food at the breakfast buffet was not that good. The food levels were low and the taste was off. A carton of milk taken from the buffet proved to be spoiled, it was not good at all. July 24, 2014

We had a private meeting room as well as space in the outside hallway for the buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A loyal customer made I've stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions within the past 7 months. I feel like I know the place a bit now and can give a recommendation. I've always had great service from very friendly staff at this hotel. After traveling multiple times many of the staff recognize me. I even had a shuttle driver pull over to say hello as I was walking through the parking lot (and it's been 4 months since I've been in last.) The hotel is always clean and my room is always comfortable. I enjoy the amenities in the room (fridge, microwave) - they were the first reason I switch from a competing hotel to this one. Now I won't go back to the competitor, I'm a loyal customer. I fully recommend this hotel. July 18, 2014

The only problem was an air conditioning unit that would not turn off, despite being set to "off". It would wake me up all night long as it came on for about 5 minutes every 15-20 minutes. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 great for business travel ive traveled to the Raleigh area many times and stayed at many hotels. kind of a trial and error process but after one stay at the this holiday inn i was sold. from now on i would like to stay at this hotel. everything was clean and comfortable. and the breakfast buffet was amazing for the price. staff is friendly and the lobby is welcoming as you walk in. i like the accent lighting outside on the building. and the fact that a microwave and fridge is included in the room is perfect. somethings its hard to find that in a hotel. and they leave a paper at the door in the mornings too. i really didn't have any problems with this hotel everything was really just to my liking.
