Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This Hotel Stinks (Literally) Stayed one night while travelling on vacation. The front desk staff looked and acted like they did not want to be there. The non-smoking room assigned smelled like body odor so I was forced to choose the only remaining room available which was smoking. The room smelled like it was smoked in constantly for the last 20 years but, in my eyes, disgusting smoke was better than body odor. August 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay and friendly Staff The hotel room was extremely comfortable and the temperature of the room was perfect. The check-in was fast the easy because I just wanted to get to the room and relax! All you had to do was ask the staff for directions etc... and they would help you instantly. The breakfast was great. A free nice hot breakfast in the lobby downstairs was just right! Coffee, juice, milk, eggs, hashbrowns, toasts, bagels, cereal, etc... what else could you ask for. Great stay! My husband ate lunch in the lobby and he said it was delicious! August 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy Traveler This Holiday Inn did not meet up to the standards of other Holiday Inn's I've stayed in. I paid 15,000 points for this room which was a total rip off. The room felt musty/sticky unless the air was running then it was cold. The ceiling tiles in the room had stains on it. My biggest complaint was that the fire alarm went off FIVE times. The front desk said it was because someone was smoking and they had to keep resetting it. Very annoying when you are traveling and need the rest. When I asked about getting some of my points returned to me, the clerk took my name and phone number. Now four days later, I've not heard from anyone. The voucher they gave me for breakfast bar was pretty worthless because the "hot" food was cold. I ended up eating cereal. Glad I didn't pay any actual money for the breakfast. I will not be staying there again. There are many competitors in the same area. I'd suggest you check them out. Oh, and I was not recognized for being an IHG Rewards Club Member. August 21, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend Room was late, called twice for very uncomfortable rollaway bed, beds did not seem like queens, like doubles, no curtains to close at night and had ants crawling on air unit, floor and table. All was brought to their attention and did not attempt to make right such as a coupon or anything. August 14, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst stay ever! After traveling for much of the day, I arrive to the desk to a rude attendant that barely acknowledged me. The room was dirty and smelled funny. In the morning when I went down to eat my "free" breakfast, I learned that the normal items found on most Holiday Inn breakfast bars including orange juice) was a la carte. I thought the guy was joking. I asked where a couple of common items were and he replied "that's a menu item". I was appalled. I thought "does corporate know this?". At any rate, tho my business brings me to Mt Vernon frequently I will no longer be staying at the Holiday Inn. Off my list! August 13, 2014
