Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff and service. Overall this hotel was a good place to stay for what I needed it for. Although I would've liked a more comfortable pool area, everything else was good. The fitness center is small but still has a few different options for working out (equipment, mats, weights, etc). The room itself was very clean and neat, the furniture well taken care of. The bathroom was a little cramped, other than that it was clean and fine. April 28, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad internet, long check-in, most TV channels didn't work Most things about this hotel were standard for a Holiday Inn. Rooms were clean but the internet was just unusable it was so slow (if I could even get connected at all). The HD TV channels did not work at all, meaning that standard channels like ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, etc. were not available. Only standard definition cable channels worked. The check-in process just took forever. Very disappointed that more than one person wasn't called to the front desk when the line grew long. Signage on Highway 17 to direct you to the entrance is lacking. Even though the hotel address is on Highway 17, the entrance is not. If you pass the entrance road, you have no choice but to cross the Ravenel Bridge all the way to Charleston and turn around and cross it again. This isn't exactly a short bridge and in rush hour, will take you an additional 25-30 minutes to get back to the hotel. April 27, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location, Poor Service We have visited this area multiple times per year, for several years. First time staying in a Holiday Inn. Last time as well. Poor customer services for customers needing to reserve additional nights , received different information 3 times within 30 minutes. We paid twice as much to stay at another hotel for the remainder of the week, after being told there would be no availability. April 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Crushed beer can in the plumbing, really? Rented two rooms - both had issues... From a leaking sink (which was reported and ignored) to beer cans in the plumbing to no towels to no maid service. Scum and a half used bar of soap in the shower stall was a real issue. The only redeaming fact was the restaurant. Food was good, service a bit slow but worth the wait. As this was a trip for the grandkids we got through the experience and toured Charlestown. Look to other motel chains or other Holiday locations. April 12, 2015
