Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Okay Stay Rooms are clean but need updating. There is no refrigerator, outlets are not readily available for electronic devices, room smelled musty and moldy, light switch in bathroom was dirty. Just didn't feel like a Holiday Inn. The restaurant needs updating, just felt old and dirty. Service and food was fair. Great location for business travel and staff are always nice. January 26, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BED AND BAR THE BEDS ARE COMFORTARABLE BUT A LITTLE SHORT I'M ONLY SIX FOOT TALL. THE BAR IS NICE TO HAVE IN THE HOTEL SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE AND THE BARTENDER WAS NICE TO TELL US ABOUT THE AREA. THE BREAKFAST LOOK GOOD I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO EAT IT AND I'M MAD AT MYSELF FOR THAT. January 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Late Staff not Welcoming - Detached I am a Platinum Elite Customer and my experience was POOR with the exception of the morning dining crew. Late check in. Waited at desk for too long without any attention. No note showing away from counter just in the back. Literally had to holler for someone to come out front for service. Unwelcoming - detached - no instructions on room, Wifi, breakfast, Rewards member...Nothing! Handed me my card and done. Reservations consisted of (2) Queen Beds NON-SMOKING. The room (believe it was 326 or 327) absolutely stunk. Had a musty old smell of a smoking room. Maybe it was a non-smoking room now but had been a smoking room in past. Very hard to sleep in - bed and blankets smelled the same way. Would have requested another room but the welcome was cold and was not worth further frustration. Most likely will choose to stay elsewhere when traveling in this area due to this experience. Just disappointed to say the least. January 15, 2015

Poor service at check in and exceptionally poor service in the restaurant area (both as a lounge in the evening and at breakfast) made for a less than satisfying experience. Staff was totally disinterested in making our time there a good one. Our group will stay with the competition next time. January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Passing in our way home in Colorado Springs We was in our way home to Colorado Springs and we need to rest in Mount Vernon area, the hotel was great for the location right by I57, nice, clean rooms, great breakfast, excellent set up and friendly staff, we can no ask for better place to rest that night, we really enjoy the stay. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Thin walls We could hear every word of conversation from the room adjacent to ours. I had to talk to the occupants 3 times to get them to keep quiet after 11 pm. The indoor courtyard is nice to look at however it provided far too much ambient light into our room. The restaurant in the hotel was dingy (only about 1/2 of the lights worked), the menu was very limited, the beer was good, the food was just okay). The property was well maintained, the pool and fitness center were very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately my main purpose for a hotel stay is to get a good night sleep which did not happen. January 6, 2015
