Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cool bikes! A great hotel! Friendly and efficient. The free bikes were brilliant! December 2, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quite old rooms The hotel was very nice in general but the rooms needs a renovation! the bed was confortable, but the bed covers were to small. As well, the tv channels were only in german, so we couldn´t enjoy of a little relax watching the tv: November 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Bavarian Hospitality Everything you would expect in Bavaria, quality accommodation, quality dining and quality staff. Outstanding value. November 23, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average stay The room had an odd odor to it. Unpleasant. A number of items in the room were not functioning including the clock (part of the TV - the digits were not readable). There was not one English language TV channel (e.g. BBC or CNN). When checking in, they gave me my room card and it did work. When I returned to "checkin" and asked what the number was, they confirmed what I spoke. Again, I went to the room and the door was open with a family occupying it. Again, I returned to reception. They had written the number on the card incorrectly or very poorly written. In general, the hotel does not seem handle international travelers well (I have stayed at other Holiday Inns in Munich and the staff has much better English language skills, have international English news channels, and furnishing that are not in disrepair). They do share the common feature of other holiday inns in Munich. Slow Internet connection. November 19, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location We spent a three-day vacation in this hotel. Good location, not far from the City Center, very quiet. The room with two queen beds was unsuitable for a family with two babies. Also we were surprised to findout that a baby cot is a complimentary service (25 Euro/day!) - the information that we did not have prior to arrival, although we requested the cot in advance. The overall experience was good. November 18, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by quite good but not the best holiday inn in germany hotel very clean staff very good ,but why are the hotels in this group have different rules this hotel the sauna does not open until 17.00hrs others open from 07.00hrs crown plaza berlin you have to pay for the sauna others no ! cooked breakfast in this hotel was cold. the bar and bar staff very good October 29, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service, pricey We (a business team of 5) stayed for two nights at the tail end of Oktoberfest - the staff were very friendly, particularly in the bar with knowledgable recommendations on beers and food, and extremely high standard of English. Room cleanliness was excellent, and though no free wifi in rooms, there was free internet access and a printer in the lobby. However, there were problems with noise from rowdy guests which went on until the early hours (2am) despite intervention from hotel night staff. The walls appear to be very thin in this hotel - I could hear next doors shower running and coat hangers banging, and corridor noise, so was glad that I always travel with a pair of earplugs. Breakfast was very good, buffet style, but expensive (per person almost what i'd expect to pay for a good fry up for all 5 of us in the UK) on top of the already hiked room prices - very high considering the out of town location.
