Upon check-in we were told the hotel was fully booked so a room-upgrade was not possible; we were offered free use of the mini-bar. That seemed like a reasonable alternative but I was disappointed by the nearly empty bar I found (1 beer, 1 small apple-juice, 1 small orange-juice, 1 small coke, 2 water). But I should have been happy with that I guess, the next morning nothing was replenished. When we came back in the evening I was told by front-desk (they first appologised) that house-keeping already went home but that they would check what thye could do. I had to check a second time about 45 min later (when I asked for the 2 extra towels they forgot - we were travelling with 2 children) but was told again house-keeping had already left but that they would inform them the next morning... I told front-desk I wanted a to drink a cold beer in the evening, not in the morning. They were going to check again and they brought a few drinks up about 10 min later. I didn't really like the begging and felt like house-keeping didn't really forget to replenish the mini-bar ...
I was also (unpleasantly) surprised by the cockroach I killed; something I never expected to experience in a German hotel. I hope, assume this was an exceptional event.
Wifi was free but oh-soooooo-slow...
Other than that we also had positive experiences, of course. The breakfast the first morning was super!! (Unfortunately the 2nd morning we were re-routed to the bierstube where some of the items offered in the restaurant were missing.)
The hotel is conveniently located 5 min from the U-bahn (Metro) and is provided with a car parking with direct access to the hotel.
Food at the bar was more than ok.
I would still recommend this hotel to others but would at the same time expect the hotel to work on the above mentioned opportunities.

The staff were rude answering several phone calls each time we tried to speak with them. Could not give any suggestions for us to see in Munich, were unable to tell us how much we needed for the train to down town. Did not know the TV station numbers in English. Could not help with the room temperature which was far too hot. In short they were just plain uncaring. The room was small and cramped and they did recognise our Platinum Status. The Wi Fi did not work in our room, so went to the business centre. That was a joke as the computers were in Arabic, when we asked the staff for help they came down but they also could not understand Arabic. My question is why in Munich Germany do you have your business centre computers set up in Arabic??? We left Munich without seeing a thing but could not stand to spend any more time at this hotel.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und mir wurde alles notwendige gut erklärt. Ich wurde als Club-Mitglied begrüßt und deshalb wurden mir weitere Annehmlichkeiten zuteil z.B. kostenfreie Minibar Benutzung. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, immer gerne wieder.
