Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, terrible parking Room was clean, beds were great, pool was wonderful. We could. Not understand why the hot tub was only half full of water . The pool area was clean and all of the workout equipment in perfect shape. The parking was horrible both nights we stayed, all of the spaces were taken up by people going to the ice rink next door. We had to park three blocks from the hotel and get our car after midnight when the lot cleared out. Breakfast buffet was great. We wanted to eat dinner at the hotel but we were told that because of an event we could not be seated before seven and the menu would be very limited. We were also told at the front desk that we could not qualify for the "kids eat free" benefit because we had used the AAA discount on our room. We would not stay again just because the parking was so impossible. December 16, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Thanksgiving stay in Muskegon Overall, the stay was ok. The room was very nice; however, the heating system in our room was not working properly. It was too cool without adjusting the temperature; but if you adjusted it, it got way too hot (89 degrees). Shower was good and supplies were adequate, but there was a water stain from the floor above in the shower area. Did not like the fact I could get 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate, nor did I enjoy the breakfast buffet. The food choices were good, but the food seemed cold. We would have preferred an option to either a continental breakfast (preferred) or the option of ordering a breakfast meal off the menu. Staff was wonderful and friendly, especially the server in the breakfast area. She was wonderful and friendly!! For the value, ok. A few big negatives: the hot tub was not full of water, the pool needed upgrading and there was "whistling" coming through the pool area due to the wind. Also, the underground parking area was TOO DARK. Lighting was minimal, at best and even though it was cold and snowy, we elected to park on the top deck. We would stay again if all items above were addressed. If you needed something just to rest your head, it would be just OK. November 29, 2012

There were a few issues with the room but overall very nice. Signed up for the romance package for an extra $25 a night the dinner and bottle of wine great the breakfast should have been for in bed not have to leave the room. October 29, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by relaxing atmosphere at perfect location I had to take the family on a quick trip, and luckily for me, the hotel was extremely accommodating. It was easy to check-in and helpful service set up crib for baby and gave incite on local sites. If I go back to visit the beautiful scenery, I will stay there again. October 29, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and convenient location I was recently in town for my sister Shannon's wedding. The checkin was great, although I forgot her name, she was efficient and friendly. Mark stands out, as he was very accomodating to my sister to ensure she had everything she needed. The restaurant attendants and the lounge attendants were awesome! Very accomodating and flexible with our total family needs. Each attendant had a positive and upbeat attitude. The room was clean, however there were a number of work orders to be completed. 805, the plug by the desk was out of the wall. 817, the phone was OOO, we called numerous times, the phone would ring, on my end, but never in the room. 730, the drape "awning" was coming off the wall. Having been a past hotelier, I understand its importatant to hear the good with the "what should be improved" comments. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and I heard little to no complaints from the rest of the party. A special thank you to the housekeeper that worked the high 7th floor on sat the 6th. Shannon was alone and when the hskpr knocked on the door, she was almost in tears, the hskpr was quick to brighten her day by asking about details and agreed to taking the time to see her dress. Her simple excitement and hug, truly made Shanon's day! Later, when we were getting ready, the hskpr returned to say good luck and to verify that her makeup and hair looked amazing. Shannon truly felt like a princess and a priority guest! Thank you for making her stay memorable. October 12, 2012
