Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, mixed service. My fiancé and I went here to see the Symphony that night. Check-in was great, and they actually let us check in early. Aside from one lamp that wouldn't work, the room was perfect! The only two things that really stood out as negative were as follows. We needed to get some cash in hand, so we asked the front desk if they had an ATM. They said yes, and they were right, but the ATM was out of order. When we asked the front desk for help, they would not help us, aside from sending us to a gas station. The only other thing is that we were woken up at 7am by housekeeping trying to get into our room. In their defense, we forgot to put up a do not disturb sign, but I didn't anticipate that the cleaning service would be running its rounds that morning. Overall, I can't complain too much. Although the front desk was kind of rude at one time, they were incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel...just wait till the construction is done. January 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs renovation I have stayed at this HIX before several times and as usual the staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is in need of renovation. It looks like it is being worked on but the room we stayed in had several spots on the carpeting. The hot water took literally 10 minutes to get to the room. Once there you had plenty, but my wife and I had to take back to back showers or another 10 minute wait. The first night our room key worked fine but coming back to our room the second night it would not work and we had to go back down and have it reprogrammed. I have stayed in a lot of HIX and I will again but may have to choose another location while in Nashville till repairs are mad at this property. January 26, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by room over all very bad experience from this stay. carpet was in bad shape, shower was plugged and i find myself standing in a 4 inch pool at the end, water temp was below average so i had to get out quickly. stepping outside the air conditioner was control was faulty and the room temp was not as i pleased and above all the noise in the floor was intolerable. luckily i arrived late and left early January 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superior Customer Service through a Renovation We are Gold Members and were looking for an IHG property close to airport. Reservation made through IGH.com. Did not know ahead of time that property was going through a major renovation. I was concerned walking up to counter. I was welcomed by the nicest young women named Zee, checked us in. Addressed me by name several times. Room was fine, though needing a facelift. Room service was delicious! Chicken and Waffles best I've ever had. Breakfast was a nice buffet, nothing special but food was hot. Ms Deborah was a very kind and helpful server.. Great gals working breakfast buffet. On our way back up to our room, I asked for a bell cart. Mr. Troy volunteered himself to assist my husband, infant, and I with much luggage, pack n play, etc. Mr Troy went out of his way to help us, superior customer service. Upon checkout, I was once again greeted by an awesome staff member. She assisted us with our bill, as there was some discrepancy from our room service. She was quick, sincere and very kind. What the hotel is lacking in posh accommodations and amenities is made up for by superior customer service and sincere helpfulness. When I called today on questions of my priority account, Mr. Cornelius was very helpful and straight to the point. Awesome service.. just like his other teammates. One last point.. best hotel store, stocked with all necessities for fair price. We were very impressed. I would stay there again. January 21, 2015
