Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room cleanliness and beds uncomfortable 1. The room had not been cleaned very well. 2. The mattress was uncomfortable, I had a back ache the next morning. 3. At around 8:45 am the cleaning lady was knocking on the door to clean the room and to see if I was checking out today. Then she was standing in the hallway talking to ??? 4. Called the front desk to ask about a menu to order room service, I waited about 45 minutes to get a menu, had to call back only to find out the menu was on channel 37 (I think). I understand you are under construction and have no problem with that, however I felt like I was put in a corner room that was somewhat substandard. October 27, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by experienced better this Inn was an overflow hotel for us due to a reunion miscalculation. I was very disappointed in the noisy A/C unit and the appearance of the hotel. Carpeting was in disrepair - could cause tripping, paint peeling off walls and doors. Construction noise very bothersome, and mess in hallway where work was being done. Some staff were good, others not so much. Found dried blood on a bed cover. Maid service below average.Tried to change rooms, but was told hotel was full. Promised an earlier ride to airport, but then had to wait for first van. I heard another very disgruntled guest as we were boarding. This hotel was an exception to the very good experience I am used to at Holiday Inn. October 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Immediate Development Required I've become a loyal IHG member and this property has several areas that require if developed would lead to a somewhat pleasant stay. 1.) Quality of Service: The staff at this property, apart from one technician, lacked quality required for agents of successful customer service. For instance, the individual in the guest shop had their personal cell phone on speaker and carried on a conversation as they rang me up... Housekeeping chose not to turn down my room citing the Do Not Disturb sign on the door... which would be fine if it was there; however when I left I made eye contact with housekeeping and it alerted the fact I was leaving and the room was free to clean (the sign was not on the door). 2.) Rooms: The walls between the rooms are thin... kids next door weren't talking loud and their conversation was as clear as day to me... sitting on the opposite of the room. 3.) Quality of the Lounges/Facilities: Poor. The menus in their night club/bar/restaurant were used and mine was quite dirty, the room was un-inviting and didn't beg me to want to stay. This is not meant to be a rant... rather, an opportunity to show where development in the above areas could lead to a quality property that is so closely associated with the IHG brand. Mold on ceiling above shower, scum ring in bath tub, lots of hair on bathroom floor behind door, dirty finger prints on bathroom door and door to the hallway, gross!! Also unhappy with pool-very cold. My son screamed it was so cold. Hot tub out of order which was a huge disappointment because I've been pregnant for the last 9 mos and this was the first time in a year that I was going to relax in a hot tub. Called for early check in and they gave us a smoking room when we told them we have a 3 month old baby. Out clothes and pack n play still smell god awful. Not relaxing at all since it's in the middle of a remodel and they're are construction workers going up and down the halls. Wouldn't even stay here after the remodel. Gross gross gross. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed At Worldwide... As someone who is not quick to complain, I was shocked at the low level of service and hospitality at a company in the hospitality industry! The first night we arrived there was hair in the tub (leftover from the previous guest). Our hotel NEVER in the 4 nights we stayed there got housekeeping despite being asked several times. Eventually my coworker had to stand at the counter and wait until someone would bring her clean towels. At breakfast one morning our server told us she would bring coffee, water and juice (what we asked for). After asking again 3 additional times we NEVER got it. We stayed on the 3rd floor and our room faced the atrium. We were able to clearly hear the wait staff setting up for breakfast everyday at 5am - including their conversations. We also were the last room in our hallway that was rented out - the rest of the hall was under construction. That is understandable (I was even willing to be patient with the noise during the day!). What was not acceptable was that as a 16-weeks pregnant woman who was feeling sick from the epoxy smell of the tiling they were doing, and when we asked to move rooms, they told us there was a waiting list to move and that they would let us know - we never heard back... I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone. I have stayed at hostels in Europe and hotels in Asia with significantly better service and more hospitable staff. This hotel needs some MAJOR room and staff updates - and should close until they are able to offer that. Otherwise they will continue to tarnish their reputation along with the Holiday Inn brand.
