Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by On the town We had a wait while checking in but the lobby was huge and beautiful! The bar area was really nice and the bartender was wonderful! We were able to take the shuttle to town and ride back when we were ready. No parking hassles with having to take our own car. That was worth a lot to us. We will stay again soon! July 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK but not excellent I stayed in this hotel for almost 40 days. To begin with my first day was a nightmare. Boarding a 6 a.m. flight, getting very less shut eye, reaching Nashville in the afternoon, I was really exhausted by the time I reached the hotel. To make matters worse, I was given an incorrect key/room which I was unable to enter. After repeated attempts to reach the hotel reception staff, after an exhausting wait (which seemed like an eternity for me), someone from the hotel staff assisted me with the correct room/room key. To cover up for thier faux paus, they provided me with complimentary breakfast coupons (the lady who gave me thought she is doing a favour) which indeed it was not. During the period of my stay, I had mixed response from the hotel reception - some good, some awfully bad. Good things :- Hotel shuttle Wifi is good Hotel is neat and clean Parcels/Packets are collected and duly handed over The staff manning the Jackson breakfast area are warm and friendly Ample amount of parking space Near proximity to Opry Mills drive Cons Laundry services (bad since there was only one W&D on the floor and that was also not working and started to work after a month after I was there) No complimentary breakfast - Can you believe Room is not cleaned unless asked - housekeeping is suppose to clean it by default, aren't they ? Mutiple times I had to call reception staff to ask housekeeping to make my room - Is the customer suppose to call for this ? Construction work was going on but it didn't hamper the guests All in all, I will come back to this hotel only if I dont' have a choice. Anytime I will prefer to stay at a holiday inn express and not a holiday inn hotel July 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Parking With too few handicapped parking spots and several parking in them without plates or placards I was forced to walk for some uncomfortable distance. I was told that the price would be about the same as the facility near Opryland. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the amount. I was told that I would receive an e-mail conformation which did not happen. July 22, 2015

The progress on the hotel's renovations is on schedule and the work completed to date is very impressive. The staff was very responsive and professional. It truly was a pleasant stay and experience. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointed I have stayed at this location a number of times, though not recently. Its primary draw is being within a very short drive to the airport, and even has a park your car and take the shuttle option. It was never a palace, but then, not so bad. This visit however, was NOT pleasant AT ALL. I was there for an early AM flight. Since last visit they had re-arranged the restaurant and bar (2 locations) to a single quasi-resto-bar with weird round sit-with-a-stranger seating. This resulted in a lot of uncomfortable single business travelers trying to stay private, interspersed with the ever-present few who revel in making the rest of us more uncomfortable. After a strained dinner, I went upstairs, watched a movie and then decided to close the curtains and go to bed. SURPRISE! No curtains. I could wave, naked, at the occupants of rooms at a 90º angle to me. And just to add to the ambience, I had an ice dispenser on the outside of one of my walls, so I had a not very dark room facing more strangers, and every hour or so the sound of stomping and ice buckets. It is in a good neighborhood with a nice eating place here at the hotel. The food was just a little expensive but other than this it was a great experience. I would recommend staying here .
