Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so great this trip..... I stayed 3 nights, as I usually do. My children attend a local university and Holiday Inn at the Nashville Airport is the closest place to stay. Normally when I stay, my room is cleaned, fresh towels, wash clothes, toilet tissue stocked, etc..... are given daily. Not this stay, every evening upon return around 10-11PM, I would have to call down to have them delivered. To which when delivered, I would be give a sign, like I was wasting the time of the staff. When checking out, I was asked, how was my stay. I then explain the above to the desk lady...... whom seemed to be of concern. I was then given, 5000 points and free under-cooked breakfast from the buffet. Next visit to my children, I will stay else where, my trip will be shorter as the next closet hotel is costly. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HEAT THE POOL Overall this hotel was fine - I was very disappointed to see that the pool heater was broken and not accessible for both nights of our stay - the pool is very important to me and would have opted to stay elsewhere had we known it wasn't working Otherwise the hotel staff and room were good. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Renovated Rooms I was disappointed that due to the recent renovations the hotel is now 100% smoke free. The room was nicely done, but some things had not been re-done (the vent in the wall had slats missing and dangling, and the hallway appeared to be incomplete). The restaurant has been replaced with an abbreviated menu that is available only in the bar. On the second night of my stay I returned to the hotel to find that the elevators were not working. After a good number of guests were gathered at the elevators and the staff realized that the elevators were inoperable, a very kind server from the restaurant/bar offered to take us to the freight elevator so that we could get to our rooms. I wish I had gotten her name to spotlight her helpfulness. The elevator service was restored within a couple of hours. I have to say that I enjoyed my stays there before the renovations much more than my stay this time. But I will return to this hotel again on a future visit as this may have been just a "perfect storm" of issues that could not have been prevented. August 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nashville Rooms were as expected and conveniently located to the airport. Staff was pleasant. Arrived late and left relatively early but I did have breakfast, nothing exceptional. Elevator was not working properly and had to use the stairs from the 9th floor - bottom floor did not exit inside the hotel and was connected to the fire alarm forcing me to backtrack 2 flights of stairs August 29, 2015

We all went to high school together and had not seen some of the people for forty five years. We had a wonderful time. August 28, 2015
