My fiancé and I went here to see the Symphony that night. Check-in was great, and they actually let us check in early. Aside from one lamp that wouldn't work, the room was perfect! The only two things that really stood out as negative were as follows. We needed to get some cash in hand, so we asked the front desk if they had an ATM. They said yes, and they were right, but the ATM was out of order. When we asked the front desk for help, they would not help us, aside from sending us to a gas station. The only other thing is that we were woken up at 7am by housekeeping trying to get into our room. In their defense, we forgot to put up a do not disturb sign, but I didn't anticipate that the cleaning service would be running its rounds that morning. Overall, I can't complain too much. Although the front desk was kind of rude at one time, they were incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel...just wait till the construction is done.

I have stayed at this HIX before several times and as usual the staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is in need of renovation. It looks like it is being worked on but the room we stayed in had several spots on the carpeting. The hot water took literally 10 minutes to get to the room. Once there you had plenty, but my wife and I had to take back to back showers or another 10 minute wait. The first night our room key worked fine but coming back to our room the second night it would not work and we had to go back down and have it reprogrammed. I have stayed in a lot of HIX and I will again but may have to choose another location while in Nashville till repairs are mad at this property.
