Comments said previously. Disappointed about notice of construction, and embarrassed for guests of the wedding block.
My daughter was getting married that weekend, and we had about 60 people staying at the Holiday Inn. It was too late to make changes.
When told I'd have a parlor with two adjoining rooms,
instead we were given a board room with one adjoining room.
At check-in, staff told us we'd have three adjoining rooms to a "parlor room". When we got to the top floor, it was very different than we had been told.
Heating/cooling was poor.

The property is under a complete renovation (which they did not advise us of at booking). The staff seems unconcerned with the inconveiences or discomfort this causes the guests and were wholly unresponsive to our needs.
I have stayed at this property numerous times in the past several years, but will be looking for other accomodations in Nashville for my next visit.

Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Really liked the soft and firm pillows. Every employee was friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent. The hotel is also close to Vanderbilt which was a plus since my husband had just had outpatient surgery and I wanted to be close to hospital for early morning post op visit.
