Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BRADFORD IS THE BOMB!!! Bradford could not be more accommodating for out stay. He was wonderful to make the reservations with and very helpful. He was there at check in and shook my hand telling me it was nice to finally meet me. We had communicated on the phone a number of times during the week. He made it happen for me in a very short notice. THANK YOU. The Holiday Inn was beautiful and my room was great. We were only there for a quick stay so I did not get a chance to eat the food but the cookies upon arrival were delicious as well as the goody bag that Gayle left for us in our rooms. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Again Spent two days at this location and it was the worst. The staff were not friendly at all. The beds were a bit high and too soft. Because I suffer from fibromyalgia I needed something a bit lower and firmer. When I called the front desk and asked for a cot or different room I was told I would be charged despite my reason for the request. Mind you I was in the area for a family reunion who of which were mixed raced. I felt like a few of the staff were racist. The food was horrible. Breakfast was over priced and over rated. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Also you get nothing but pay a price of which should include something. The best things this place has to offer is cookies and a ride to the casino! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Shower Curtain The shower curtain had a foul order which carried out to the entire. Once I identifed the odor coming for the shower curtain, I reported it to the front desk and it was changed immediately, and there were no more foul odor. I truly enjoyed the comfort of the bed. I would like to get the mattress, sheets and pillows for my personal use at home. July 31, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor room We stayed at this hotel for a concert at mohgen sun casino the only good thing I can say that they had a free shuttle service to and from the casino. staff was friendly.the room we had smelled musty and the bathroom like urine the mattres was lumpy it didn't seem that it was cleaned propeley for a while we had a balcony when we we stepped out on the balcony the floor was all sticky for a room like this doesn't warrant the price July 29, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD CHOICE After a very trying travel experience, I arrived at the hotel frazzled, a few hours later than planned, only to find the entrance blocked by a tour bus discharging passengers. Anticipating my mood, a staff member ran up to my car to be sure I was directed to an alternate entry. There was a very long line at the front desk, but managment pitched in to expedite check-ins. Staff in all areas were gracious and seemed genuinely concerned about accommodating guests throughout my stay. July 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Immaculate hotel with friendly, courteous staff My family stayed here recently to attend a concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The staff is wonderful -- so friendly, helpful and courteous. The shuttle to the casino is very convenient. The driver was so concerned about getting everyone to and from the arena for the concert, she was going to make extra runs (well after midnight) to make sure everyone got back. (Thanks, Lisa!) The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are well-appointed. We drove to Mystic the next day; it was about a 20 minute drive. We travel to the Mystic area often and I have not been happy with the hotels there, so we will definitely stay here again! July 11, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay Stay for a concert at the Mohegan Sun Casino and it was perfect. We arrived, changed, had dinner at the bar and then caught the shuttle to the Casino. The shuttle driver was fantastic and picked us up after the concert. It was such a pleasure to not have to worry about driving to the casino, parking and then driving back to the hotel late at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative was that when we went back to the hotel and went down to the bar to relax, one pool table didn't have an 8 ball and there were only 3 usable darts for two dart boards so it was a bit hard to play with others in the bar. But, that's such a tiny negative in relation to a great night out! July 10, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent option for casino visit. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I am a frequent visitor to the nearby casino, but not so frequent that they give me free nights. And do you think I'm going to spend ridiculous money to stay at the casino so that they can take more of my money anyway? Nope. So I decided on the HI Norwich. It looks as if it's been recently renovated. There's a wide open, modern lobby. And there's a sports bar/restaurant on-site but I didn't go there because I spent most of my time at the casino. But if you are interested in eating at the hotel sports bar, check in on Yelp and you get 25% off your bill. Or if you're an IHG Rewards member, they give you 1,000 points for eating there. Anyways, back to the hotel. The facilities are nice, and I was surprised by how nice the pool area was. The room was nice, although it did smell a little funky. It was like a mix of musty and old smoke (maybe it used to be a smoking room?). But it wasn't really enough to throw me off, and I didn't really notice it that much. The room was fairly large, although the bathroom was cramped. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I would make two recommendations when requesting a room. First, ask to be on the backside of the hotel, it's quieter. And ask to be on the other end of where the ice machine is (my room was right next to it, and it was loud). Overall the stay was excellent and the pros outweighed the cons. The staff is super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a rewards night, even though they were sold out online. They treat IHG Platinum guests very well with welcome points, and in-room snacks and drinks. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the casino (MS), every half-hour, until 2AM or so on weekends. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will be staying here on each of my trips to the casino. July 8, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noise! The room itself was fine. But when I booked my room and when I checked in, I specifically requested a quiet room. The second night of my stay, however, I was awakened by a loud party at about 2 AM. I had to roam the halls to discover that the party was coming from the room below me. The front desk should not have placed a party group right below a guest who specifically requested quiet. When I called the front desk to ask them to deal with the situation, they said they would take care of it right away, but it took almost 2 hours for things to get quiet. The next morning when I told the front desk about the situation, they said someone would get back to me to try to make this right, but as of now, no one has gotten back to me. June 18, 2014
