Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Ideal This is the first time that I've ever felt the need to write a review like this. Honestly, most of the time I fill out five stars across the board. I checked in very late last night after a long drive and I do need to say that the person at the Front Desk and the Valet were very friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for more from them. When i got to my room, I immediately heard the tub faucet dripping. It was past 1AM and I was so tired that I didn't want to call and wait for someone to come fix it this late. It dripped all night. There was a crack in the ceiling above the tub and the shower head was protruding out of a hole in the wall. This morning when i wanted to sit down and write a couple of emails, I found out that the desk chair was broken and wouldn't adjust higher or lower. It remained at it's lowest setting. Not the most comfortable position to sit in... I also turned on the TV to find that every channel was pixelated and would cut out every 15-20 seconds. It's a hotel room. I stayed for one night. I'm not living here, so these things are minor issues and ones that I can deal with. But I could never and would never recommend this hotel to anyone else, ever. There's no way. January 22, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pay for Parking Hotel was great, but the only inconvenience was the parking. You could either pay the hotel 39.99/night or choose to self park at the garage down the street for 35.99/24 hours. The fee is not that bad, but I was not expecting it. You shouldn't be charged for parking if paying for a hotel stay. January 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Too bad it was a quick trip Excellent Room. I could not have asked for a better room. It was the bottom floor of the old carriage house, the room must have been at least 200 years old. The smell of history in the room was an added bonus. The room had separate living and sleeping rooms with 7 sets of french doors (14 Windows) looking on the carriage way. The check-in and -out staff were perfect. The only thing I was not happy with was the bartender. I went to the bar to get a something to drink to take to my room and though the bartender was not busy - he was not attentive. I just found him to be very rude - which was highly noticeable because that is not typical of bar staff in New Orleans. January 17, 2015

The only thing wrong with the room was the bathroom shelves were not adequate for setting things on when getting ready in the morning. Our room was a suite and my wife had to move out to the living are to do her makeup, hair etc January 16, 2015
