Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RACJ2 Excellent location and friendly staff
Great location in the French Quarter, only 1 block from Bourbon Street. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Room was clean and updated and had nice towels and amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable and room was quiet.
Only negative was that once we got off the elevator, we had to carry our luggage up about 15 stairs to get to our room.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Gunit 1959 Well below Holiday Inn Standard
No Early checkin, made us wait 3 hours. Never notified us when "Our Room" was available. Red haired woman was the worst.
Rooms and furniture are old. Furniture looked like it should go to GOODWILL.
Restaurant and Bar are WAY overpriced.
Read negative reviews, stayed anyway, CAVEAT EMPTOR !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BigTex531 Mardi Gras Stay
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Was very pleased with my suite. Internet connections (wireless) was not very good. Also, as a big man I would have liked a larger toilet in the bathroom. These were the only 2 things I had a problem with. The Valet Parking attendants were very helpful and friendly, especially Derek. I look forward to staying at the Chateau Lemoyne again in the future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by zoepuppy Bed like a rock, outside noise level at night is too much
Be sure and ask for a courtyard facing room away from the street, the noise level with garbage trucks, etc. awoke us every night several times.
Bed was like a rock, and they would have changed our room, but I had food poisoning (from elsewhere), then my wife came down with bronchitis. Re-packing and moving was just too much effort.
Lastly, the restaurant is very expensive for it's offerings. Just a block down the street were little neighborhood places where one could buy a decent American breakfast at a reasonable cost. Lunch was much the same. Dinners were high priced at most full service restaurants as it was Mardi Gras, and prices seemed to be hiked accordingly.
PS. The food poisoning was acquired the night before we arrived in the French Quarter....nothing to do with the local eateries.
