Arrived late in the evening after a very long day of business in the bayous west of NOLA. The valets were polite and attentive, speedy too.
Check-in was a breeze and quickly went to the room. The building is old and has character. I had a ground floor suite for the night - upgraded. My only complaint was the narrowness of the door. It was a challenge to get in and out with a backpack and luggage in tow.
The proximity to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter is a major selling point. It is a great area to walk and the hotel is far enough off the main drag to not have issues with the noise.
The furnishings were upscale, the bed and linens quite comfortable. My only ding would be for the tiny bathroom.
I would definitely choose this property if coming back to NOLA again for business, with some play planned for after-hours.

The hotel is under construction. I was not given a suite like on my previous visits to this hotel and as I requested because they weren't open. The room I was given with a king bed was nice and had more flair than a standard hotel room. Despite all of the construction going on the noise level wasn't bad, but I was up early for work purposes. The dining room is only open on some dates of the week, but dining options in the nearby French Quarter are plentiful. The location of the hotel is perfect, just behind Bourbon Street, but on a quiet street. The staff is very friendly.
