Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 ARA 2015 The main concern I have with this hotel is the room we stayed in needs updated with new carpet and bedding. The wait staff in the resturant needs to learn some proper customer service skills. I also felt the daily parking fee was way out of line. February 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Thermostats We arrived late. There is a thermostat you see when you walk in so we set it to a cooler temperature and went to bed. We woke up and it was warmer than when we went to bed. So we checked the unit and there is a thermostat on it. We turned it down and left for a few hours. When we get back, the room still had not cooled off. Not sure which thermostat controlled the room but neither seemed to work. February 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mardi Gras first! We chose the Holiday Inn for our first Mardi Gras visit as the price was much more reasonable than other hotels in the area. It turned out to be a good choice, as the hotel was in a good location to walk everywhere without being in amongst the madness of the parades etc. The rooms were well presented and spacious - the bathrooms are somewhat older but clean. The hotel's best asset though is their staff, everyone we encountered from check in through breakfast and dinner to concierge were friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to return if visiting New Orleans again. February 25, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mardis Gras but exceptional service Hotel was very busy. Shakera at Front desk was incredibly helpful and kept me in mind as I was able to get checked in early. Upon seeing the room it was very clean and I was able to get a good rest before seeing the sights. I was thanked for being a Elite Gold member and hotel staff always smiled February 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and accommodating Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very welcoming! My husband and I were in town for Mardi Gras and to check out the city. The hotels' location was perfect for us, not in the middle of it all but convenient to get where we wanted to go and to the parade routes. The hotel even provided a copy of the daily parade routes so we knew exactly where to go. We felt safe and secure and used the hotel parking, which at $29 per day was typical and expected.
