Issue I had with property is when we first arrived we arrived early and understood there probably wasn't going to be a room available but that wasn't going to be an issue because our friends already had a room and we could store our stuff there. We were advised that rooms were not ready but as soon as they became available per our room request they would call me. We left the property and explored the city when we returned to check in I was told that my room request could not be accommodated, of course this was starting to upset me as we were originally told that we would get room we requested and would receive a call when ready. Front desk clerk Donavon was very helpful and was able to finally honor our request. Construction noise next door was annoying in the mornings and I feel rates should have reflected that. Also construction workers were constantly ogling female guest at the pool. May 9, 2016

I feel comfortable and safe even though the surrounding area is going through some major transformations. The location is great to all the public transit, and is close to all the sites in the French Quarter. May 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cancellation Policy I was told when I booked the room that I could cancel before 4pm on Thursday. We had to cancel at 8am Thursday. They told us we were too late. I asked them to use my points since I couldn't cancel. They said they couldn't use the points and would have to charge my credit card. I no longer see the benefits of this points program, and will no longer spend 3-4 nights a week, 2-3 weeks a months at Holiday Inn hotels. I will make arrangements elsewhere.
