Pros: parking in the adjoining garage was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The front desk staff had very good attitude. Location was somewhat convenient to the French Quarter, though did not seem like the greatest part of town.
Cons: the hotel decor was dated. I had immense and frequent difficulty with my key reader, which was replicated by front desk staff (so we are certain it was not the key). The handle for cold water on the sink was able to hyperextend, which allowed water to drip out even when the sink was turned off. The most bothersome part of my stay was Monday morning, when a parade staging area was mounted outside the hotel at 745 am: loud danceclub speakers were blaring music outside the hotel. Despite being on the 16th floor, the music was loud enough to make the walls vibrate in my room and sound as though the room next door was blaring music. It was as though there were a marching band outside (which there was on and off through the morning, so I am in prime position to make this comparison). Not having requested a wake up call, it was an uncustomary way to be awakened at 745 am.

I especially liked that I paid about half the price of pricier hotels within walking distance, and my room was likely just as good. Not the grand lobby, but certainly not what most people need anyway.

Great city and location. Issue regarding my room upon checking in...issuing the same room twice, but that was quickly resolved. Internet was intermittent as I kept getting kicked off.
Kellie was wonderful at the front desk. Clean property with a Warhol theme.

Firstly, the cost of parking was absolutely ridiculous. The location was nice, the cost of the room was ok. The room itself was spacious and clean, however I could hear people talking next door (not very soundproof)

There was a slight mix-up when I was checking in, but I was very pleased with the speed and courtesy with which it was handled. I was given free breakfast because of the hassle I had to go through during check in. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous. They responded to my needs right away and took care of business. The restaurant was excellent!! The room I stayed in was very clean and fresh. Totally recommend this hotel!!

Hotel overall was great. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was a nice layout and the location and price made sense for us.
Only negative experience looking back the terrible WI-FI. I understand WI-FI is not a life necessity so the below is only applicable if you plan to work / use the internet during your stay. When it is broadly advertised that the hotel is WI-FI accessible, it creates a certain expectation. In fairness, it did work in the lobby, however whatever routers were used on the suite floors were either too weak/far away or overworked. It was impossible to establish a connection from our room for longer than 2 continuous minutes. Unfortunately there was also no cable/cord to plug my laptop into as an alternative. I did call to inquire about any other possible networks, however was told there was just the primary network which I was experiencing issues with.
Throughout our trip I had some work I needed to do and unfortunately had to work off of my laptop in the lobby on a couch. It was disappointing not being able to utilize the large desk provided in our room. Same issues applied to using wireless on my phone. In the end, just had to use international roaming on my phone while back in the room.
Overall stay was great, I was just very disappointed on this one issue. Hopefully the hotel will take this and turn it into a positive by installing additional routers throughout the hallways or performing other network improvements so the WI-FI actually worked in the guest suites.
