Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Couldn't have asked for more. My wife and I stayed at the Superdome location downtown New Orleans and everything was excellent. Additionally, he staff was always so helpful and cheerful in their duties. We both were so relieved as we were in New Orleans for a medical appointment and tests. One thing less to worry about. We do hope and pray that we'll be able to stay again under less stressful circumstances. To all of you at the Holiday Inn Superdome, a heart felt thank you. Sincerely, RWPD March 27, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just OK - DON'T UPGRADE TO EXECUTIVE ROOM After checking in, I was given 4 room keys for me and my guests. We go to the hotel room and none of them work. It takes the hotel 4 TIMES and about 30 minutes to get our room keys to work. Very inconvenient. Paid $15.00 extra for an executive floor room which included access to the Club Lounge. I was told over the phone prior to my booking that the Club Lounge offered free appetizers and soft drinks between 5-8pm and free breakfast between 6-9am. After I check-in, I go up to the Club Lounge around 5:30pm and it's not even open. I was told that the service had been discontinued. I paid an extra $15.00 to essentially be on an upper floor. The shower head was awful. The beds were comfortable. The elevators are terrible in this hotel. One of them shakes like you would not believe. The business center was nice. Cheap parking compared to other hotels. Nice lobby. February 19, 2013

The only drawback is the breakfast buffet, which should be offered to all priority club stays. Instead, with a party of three (my husband and daughter), I was given one coupon and they had to pay. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Transfer My understanding at purchase was that I would be transported to and from the cruise., It does not make since that the shuttle would not transfer it's customers back from the cruise. we were told by two security that your hotel shuttled every 30 minutes but the hotel personal said that they did take people back to the hotel You would think as much as we paid the shuttle would be available to return us to our cars. We had to pay and extra $21.00 I will not recommend your hotel to my associates. January 26, 2013

Every staff member we encountered, from the desk clerk to the manager in the elevator to the concierge to the restaurant staff (who really worked their tails off), was absolutely pleasant, if not downright friendly. And the early (11am) check-in the day after we came back was a delightful (and convenient) surprise. Also, for movie buffs, the HI has first run movies available for purchase! The new James Bond movie was a big family hit. I recommend having the concierge call the cab company for you, as the cab fares are more published. And I would love to see the hotel implement a train and cruise terminal shuttle service. Thank you Holiday Inn! January 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place to Stay. My wife and I spent four days in New Orleans for New Years Eve 2013. This was our second New Years visit to New Orleans at this hotel. We both think this Hotel offers a very pleasing atmosphere with a staff that was very professional. They were full because of The Saints vs Panthers game and the Sugar Bowl during the same time we were there and every thing with the hotel worked without any problems. I will say the wait for an elevator can get a little long when the hotel is full, but it wasn't a big deal. January 13, 2013

I was pleasantly surprised at finding this gem of a hotel so close to where I needed to go in New Orleans. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I must mention Roosevelt, oswald, Gloria and Juanita for outstanding work. They were most helpful and kind. My hat off to them for jobs well done. Thank you. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Complaint We have been staying at Holiday Inn's all across the country. There seems to be a theme and today I'm speaking out. They all seem to be, for lack of a better phrase, "run down". We stayed in New Orleans 5 nights. The first night, there was no hot water, eventually NO water for hours and the elevators weren't working #we were on the 11th floor#. The second night, no hot water, our room had not been cleaned #we left at 11:00 a.m. and returned at 5:30 p.m.#. The third night there was a clean room but no towels. I called for towels and an hour later my husband called back for towels. The shower barely worked and I was lucky if there was EVER hot water. #Except for 5:00 a.m. - there was plenty#. I do not recommend this hotel unless they step up their game. Roosevelt, however, is a JEWEL. The only good thing about the whole place. Peggy Texas January 6, 2013

I went because close to superdome for football game , but I 'll stay again if coming to party at French quarter too. Close waking distance to everywhere . Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rennovations not mentioned Rooms were great price, up-to-date, and clean. No running water upon arrival followed by a "gray smoke" in the water later at night was very inconvenient. Hotel elevators were being rennovated but website made no mention of that. Only having 1 (sometimes 2) working elevator made for 30+ minute waits just to get down to the lobby. Even though it was nicely priced and close to the Superdome, I will likely never stay here again. Nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. January 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by New Orleans Bowl 2012 Room was clean as was bathroom. Staff was courteous and helpful. Restaurant food was good. Restaurant service could have been better had additional staff been scheduled due to the number of persons staying during the New Orleans Bowl 2012. The line waiting for a table at dinner on the Friday night before and breakfast the morning of (12/22) and on Sunday 12/23 was long. However, I now realize that there are many weekends having events at the near by Mercedes Benz Superdome. Location for the dome was nice, but slightly far to walk to French Qtr., with the crime in N. O. Take a cab, the $8 fare is so worth it. January 3, 2013

Great parking, very good staff, convenient, streetcars at front door of hotel. Our room was very nice and updated. Being so close to the Superdome is a HUGE advantage. This is and remains one of my favorite hotels in New Orleans. Again, the staff was VERY courteous, helpful, and friendly. January 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed Mattresses were not as comfortable as our previous stay. The previous stay we were in a King. This time were two full beds. Mattresses in this room need to be replaced. Always pick this location when attending a concert at the N.O. Arena or a football game in the Super Dome. January 2, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NEVER AGAIN This was by far the worst IHG experience I have ever had. The AC was way too loud and couldn't sleep with it on, when taking out the filter it was BEYOND FILTHY. The housekeepers ignored our DND everyday. The only bright spot is the front desk attendant that checked us in. OH that and the fact that they provided us room keys without ID or even asking our last name. I felt that I could have asked for a key to any room and gotten it. December 14, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Locked out. 4 times. Key cards did not hold charge and pool entry did not work, resulting in being locked out of my room 3 times and getting stuck on the pool/rooftop area. After being locked out of my room twice, I asked the concierge if that was normal- they said phones may deactivate the keys. Put key cards in separate pockets and neither worked when I got back to the room. It was a major inconvenience to be locked out multiple times- riding elevators, making phone calls, waiting on staff to open the door etc. Dining and pool were great, and the room was good. From the time I checked in until the time I left for the airport, my stay was very enjoyable. There is one staff member that I would like to especially point out, the bartender, Bydrow. He made me feel very comfortable and his customer service was exceptional. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I travel to New Orleans. December 12, 2012

Not too many good dining places nearby though. Building & room were decently clean. Comfortable beds but we just wish they had 2Q size beds instead of 2Dbl size beds in the room for 4 people. Good bright reading lights & night light in the room. My only complain is -- Hotel need an additional laundry room(s) besides that 1 floor with ONLY ONE washing machine & dryer for the entire building. It's so inconvenient to wait an hour + to use this laundry room. By the way, the restroom at their restaurant was NOT handicap friendly at all. Potential safety hazard for handicaps. Front Desk Staff were friendly & very helpful. Overall, great service by ALL the staff!!-- thank you!! December 12, 2012
