Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Staff was very friendly. The room was very quiet which we didn't expect. Room a little small but what do you expect in New York. Free Wi Fi was a great bonus to the stay. Front Desk very helpful May 23, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beer for Champagne? Most of us are familiar with the expression "wanting Champagne on a beer budget". Well, this hotel is "getting beer but paying for Champagne". As a loyal IHG visitor and Priority Club member, I'll leave it at that. May 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Trip I arrived on Sunday, May 12th and checked out Tuesday, May 14th. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and took no time at all. My room was on the 3rd floor, and like the majority of NYC rooms, was quite small but comfortable. The room was clean as was the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower was lacking slightly but is on par with most NYC rooms I've stayed in in the past. Location in the Financial District is very good and is also very close to several different subway lines. For a quick, non-family trip to NYC, this is a very nice room and I would recommend to others. I will stay here again on my next trip. May 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel, Great Location (but don't drive if you can avoid it) I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Nassau St. for the 5-Boro Bike Ride in 2013. I found the room quite comfortable and clean. My particular room was very spacious by Manhattan standards but I think I was upgraded for some reason. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. From the moment I put in the reservation to the moment I checked out, they concerned themselves with nothing but my comfort and enjoyment. Excellent customer service. The price is on par with other New York hotels meaning not cheap but definitely not high end price either. Still, the price is a good one considering the location which, despite being in the financial district, is still buzzing on weekends. Easy access to subways is a big plus, just make sure to do your homework on weekend subway service changes. That's par for the course in NYC. The one thing I would warn about is having a car. While the hotel does have a deal for reasonably priced (by NYC standards) parking a few blocks away, pulling up to the hotel and loading/unloading is not easy. There is one "parking space" in front of the hotel that is a loading zone however, when I was there, it was always occupied, in some cases by police vehicles that just couldn't find anywhere else to park I suppose. If you do have a car, it's helpful to have someone who can stay with it while the other transfers luggage. Nassau St. is narrow and there's no room to double park. Overall, this was a really good hotel and I will likely stay there again for next year's 5-Boro. May 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service A+ The staff was especially welcoming and pleasant at the front desk and in the restaurant. Thank you Holiday Inn Wall Street! May 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet room This was our first stay on Nassau Street and we enjoyed it very much. The lobby is small, but the staff provided excellence service. One drawback was my request at check-in on Sunday for late check-out on Wednesday morning. The Sunday staffer was agreeable, but the Tuesday staff had no record of the request so I am glad that I confirmed it. The late check-out is key to our travel schedule and eased any stress for us. I was a little confused at directions toward Broadway or Water St. at first, but got acclimated pretty quickly. The nearby eateries are excellent and there is always people around even in the evening. We were given a corner room on 19th room, which was quiet and comfortable. Will stay here again. May 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Service This is a small hotel with a great lower Manhattan location. But what really makes it stand out is the stellar level of service provided by staff. Front front desk to housekeeping to management, everyone in this hotel has worked hard to meet my requests, help with changed plans, etc. The people here make me feel welcome and make the place feel like home. Really great people, and I recommend the hotel highly for that reason. April 22, 2013
