I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. The location is great and the price for the room is reasonable. The staff was VERY helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CFAstudent Small room in small hotel, but good stay
I stayed at this hotel for the better part of a week. The hotel and the room were very tiny and somewhat hard to find. But, the stay was good. The room was clean. The light switch was linked to an outlet, so I had a dead cell phone one night. The restaurant was closed at inconvenient times, or the door was locked and no staff knew about it. Overall though, despite the minor shortcomings and the cramped feeling inside the hotel, it was a good stay. It's hard to find better for such a low price on the island of Manhattan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mcm68912 Not bad but not great
Room was surprisingly small. Too cramped. At night they do a lot of construction so if you turn the AC or Heat off all you hear is machines and loud noise. Makes it hard to sleep. Location was great. After all its a Holiday Inn...love them so will always book with Holidays but maybe not this one in particular.

Odd name for a hotel that is not actually on Wall St but it's pretty close. Reasonable value for downtown Manhatten. Be specific about the rate you book. I didn't watch closely enough and on a 3 night stay I had 3 different rates each night getting more expensive!! Quite a shock at check out but all my own fault. The hotel is clean and quiet and easily accesible. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very average.

This was my second stay at this hotel. As posted on a prior review, I had major problems the first time that I stayed on this property. I had business in the Wall Street area, so I decided to give the hotel a second chance, and I am glad that I did. The problems that I had first witnessed at this hotel have been resolved. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and I was treated with great respect. I am glad that I tried this property again, and I will return!

We both really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn in Wall Street. It was close to Fulton St station and lots of great eat places around it. The staff were extra friendly and after our days out sightseeing, we came back to friendly faces and a friendly greeting. We couldn't have got better.
Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard.
Nothing was a problem, I would definately stay there again.
Thanks Holiday Inn and the staff that makes the place like being at home.

My stay at the Holiday Inn was excellent. Comfortable bed, staff was really friendly and professional and the area is very nice also. The only thing about this hotel is that it's not the type of place to stay in if you are looking for luxury. I stayed for 2 days and that's what the hotel is good for. Just convenience. Otherwise, my stay went well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sparky983 Enjoyable reasonable hotel
The room was a nice size not huge but not tiny. The ac worked great the shower was awesome the bathroom was tiny but functional. Nice decore TV was nice sized for the room not overpowering the space. Would of liked an armore with a couple of drawers and a place to hang things but it worked for us. Its great for the financial district and the 9-11 memorial site they were within walking distance of hotel. Cab ride one way with tip to times square was$ 25.00 So maybe if you like the hustle n bustle of NYC pay a little more to stay up there and save on the cab rides.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Idahobound Platinum Members - Not Recognized
This hotel was very small and cramped. Much smaller than most NYC hotels in the same price range. I was surprised that Platinum members do not get recognition at this hotel. I was not provided a single thing for being Platinum. Not even expedited check in service. It would be nice to be recognized in any capacity. No water, no breakfast, no upgrade. One positive the room was very clean.

The Hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly. The decor was a bit dull and the rooms were a little small. Not a big issue because we were not in our rooms very much.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by whatsername Great location, great staff
I stayed in this hotel with my children on a trip to New York. I chose this hotel as it was the cheapest I could find in the location I wanted within Manhattan. The location is great - we explored all over Manhattan, mostly on foot, though it is convenient for the subway too. The area is clean and safe.
The hotel itself and the rooms are very compact, but they are clean, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They were happy to hold our bags for us between check out and departure and seem keen and happy to help.
Overall I was pleased with the hotel and our stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Duni Great staff
I stayed here recently with my grand-daughter, her first time in NYC. The staff were so helpful, especially Vitaliy and Christopher in reception and Romana and Denise in the Diner, and everyone was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable. We both loved it, and may well choose to stay here again. I completed the survey form at the hotel and my grand-daughter tells me I wasn't generous enough in my comments, so I have updated them and made everything 'excellent'.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jude123 Rather tiny
I know this was a cheap place but really it isn't 3 star.
Staff were really pleasant.
Beds were very comfortable.
Had all the necessities, but just a tight squeeze.
Location to ground zero just 5 min walk.
I wouldn't choose the restaurant again; neither my daughter or I really enjoyed our meals. Salad is OK.
The gym is also very small. No weights, and the walker I used seemed to be a bit unstable.
Parking available, but its a short walk away. Not too sure whether car is that secure as they leave the windows open when parked.

The room was small and the hallways were narrow but the room itself was very clean, well supplied, and the staff was very accommodating and professional. Everything was great.
It's also in a great location and and the price for the room was very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in other Holiday Inns in New York City and the Wall St. Holiday was definitely the best kept (cleanliness, décor, etc) The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for any attraction or business in lower Manhattan

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steph2 Comfortable Room
This was a first. The location was great, for the Wall Street experience. We were able to take part in the Memorial Tour and to walk through the streets of that day. We were comfortable in taking the train and walking Fulton Street. The eatery's in the area were also great.
I was however, disappointed in the size of the rooms. I never expected the rooms to be so small for the prices. No refrigerators or microwaves.... Not that I wouldn't stay again, but I would like a larger room if available in the Hotel.

We were lucky enough to secure a "same day reservation" at this hotel when our other pre-booked NY accommodation proved to be unsuitable. Craig in reception gave us a warm welcome and a much-appreciated upgrade. Our room was immaculate, and well equipped. Very comfortable bed.
The excellent service given by Denise and Romana at breakfast in the cafe was always a great start to the day.
The reception staff responded promptly to all queries and requests.
The hotel is centrally located, close to subway, cafes, bars, and Southport. We would certainly stay there again.Highly recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buli good value for money
nice hotel, clean and good location. helpful staff, rooms small but this is NYC, so you shouldn't be surprised. v. good value for money. however, avoid the hotel restaurant for breakfast if you can... service is slow and sometimes forgetful, food far from great and limited choice. there are plenty of other places within 0-3 mins walking distance from the hotel and that's a much better option. otherwise, a recommendable and enjoyable place to stay in lower manhattan.

Having completed a long journey ( 2 flights via LHA UK ) arriving at the hotel after midnight and feeling extremely tired my first impression of the location was disappointment. Initial thoughts with regards to the hotel was small and basic.
After a really good nights sleep I woke up to a very surprisingly peaceful morning ( was I in NYC ? ? ) The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and on closer inspection the room facilities were extremely good ( bathroom / t.v. / coffee maker and most importantly a safe for valuables )
My plan was to use the Hotel for a base whilst staying in NYC so I can't comment on the restaurant but the housekeeping was great ( clean sheets / towels every day ) and the front of house team on the reception desk were fantastic / really helpful and friendly....
1st morning exploring I soon realised what a prime location we were in ( having travelled extentively around the city I preferred this spot because it was nice and quiet after spending time around the city which never sleeps )

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sass30 small yet affordable and clean!
I stayed 1 week over the height of the summer and loved every minute. The workers were extremely friendly and accommodating, not one issue arose. The rooms and small but thats New York. Im not sure if two travellers with massive luggage bags would feel there was enough room, but for me... perfect! The bed is big and comfortable, the room and bathroom clean! Although, the location isn't in the heart of Manhattan the subway is close. It is a short walk from great shopping like Century 21 (branded discount store) and Sephora. Best part is that it is a short stroll down to Battery park to see the statue of Liberty on your morning walks! Not one bad thing to say.. I did read other reviews and chose one of the higher rooms in regard to traffic noise and i didn't hear a thing. Would recommend a traveller stay here for a clean and restful visit to NYC! Wifi always takes stress off a overseas traveller which was fast and FREE. Thank you for your hospitality Wall st Holiday INN

I found the room to be too small.
It was all clean, not complaints about that at all.
Service was very good also.
The towel holder for my room was almost falling apart, so bit more investment in room maintenance would help.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GerritK A mixed bag
This was a mixed bag of sorts - still not sure how to place it properly. Maybe due to the extreme summer heat things didn't go as smoothly as they should.
Front desk staff seemed to be over their heads, the simplest things took long and caused confusion amongst them. Paired with them also having to man the customer service phone, general phone, and all sorts of things, our experience both when checking in, checking out, and during the day were slightly chaotic. They remained friendly, but I did hope for a larger level of professionalism.
Hotel is in a good area, easy to reach and solid location. It does show quite some wear and is in my opinion not up to scratch when it comes to the general HI standards, but I did have a good sleep and appreciated the very good roomservice and TV. (soundproofing of windows is, as is with most middle class NYC hotels, terrible though)
Breakfast was ok, personally I probably would never visit the Diner by itself, but for a rate with breakfast it serves it purpose. Staff here also seemed more confused about what they are doing, but one admitted to it being her first breakfast service, so I won't hold it against her. The public restroom in the lobby/restaurant smells revolting and is hidden deep in the cellar.
So all in all, I probably would not stay here again (especially at the high price tag they ask), but it is a fine place for basic visitors needing a good place to sleep without having too high expectations.
