We stayed here in late November 2014 for 8 nights and found the rooms to be a little small, which we had expected for New York but the beds were really comfortable. Rooms were standard but clean and we were on the 8th Floor, you did hear sirens and traffic noise, but again that is to be expected in New York.
Customer service was great especially Pilar who was at Concierge, she was so helpful with directions and how to catch the subway and even refused a tip at the end of our trip, which shows that she takes pride in her job and doesn't expect any extras. A valuable team member.
Location was good, about a 20 minute walk to Times Square and fairly close to Soho, either a subway ride or you could walk it if it wasn't too cold. Otherwise taxi's were not too expensive from there.
We ate breakfast there every morning and found it to be good, not great but we also found food in New York to be expensive, again to be expected.
Unfortunately dinner was not great, but maybe that is something that can be looked at with the quality of food and the dinner and wine choices offered.
Otherwise for a fairly good accommodation price for New York, I would recommend staying at The Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Avenue Chelsea.

The staff was excellent. The rooms and the bathrooms small, but who goes to NYC to stay in the room. The staff makes up for the fact that the room are somewhat small. Would stay again, but no more than two in a room.
