Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and great location This was my first time to NYC and I stayed at the Holiday Inn - Lower East Side. I will definitely go back. Not only does the hotel have friendly staff that provided me with great customer service, the cleanliness and location are also good for its value. The subway is steps away and you are also walking distance to Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho and the 9/11 Memorial. There are a few local bars that are also cool. Excllent overall experience. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely worth to stay at! We stood one week in August and enjoyed the Hotel and the area around. Our room was big enough for two and compared to other Hotel rooms in NYC even spacious. There are lots of bars and restaurants around and the Essex Street market is a great place for breakfast. Of course there is some noice outside, but if you keep the windows closed you can have a good sleep. I clearly recommend this Hotel and will come back soon! August 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great location, nice hotel Only 3 things detracted from an almost perfect stay, 1. the a/c noise made it hard to hear the TV and even woke me up 2. The internet didn't work on my phone ( and I didn't have my tablet laptop with me. :-( 3. No bill at checkout and the stay didn't show on my IHG Rewards and so I don't know why the charge on my cc was greater than expected (I can only guess that it may have been a 17.5% room or sales tax) Other than that, it was an excellent hotel stay and I would go there again and recommend it August 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect place to stay on LES We stayed at the Holiday Inn LES for five nights from July 29th through August 2nd. This hotel was perfect. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Our room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable also.The lobby is nice and there are 2 or 3 PCs (free wifi) and a printer available for guest use. We had breakfast in the restaurant one monring and the wait staff was great and the food was good. The hotel is situated in a great area on LES and close to lots of great restaurants and bars. It is also right by the subway station (no walk at all) and that makes it very easy to get anywhere from there. China town and Little Italy are a very close walk from the hotel and have tons of great places to eat. We travel to NYC frequently and will make this our preferred place to stay. August 21, 2015

We've stayed at Boutique Hotels, however so often we're in the Lower East Side...great location....staff wonderful.....bed soooo comfortable. Lobby could be a little more inviting...especially the food area....perhaps a type of screen...just to section things off a bit. BETTER rooms and restaurant. Other than that Excellent value.
