Would you let me know who has created the posters of fully dressed people on the beach? I have seen these posters elsewhere, but can't remember the locations. it has a Gadby like theme with the way people used to visit the beach many years ago. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The most arrogant hotel staff From check in (where the girl was constantly on the phone with friends), to check out (where the guy completely ignored the queue and was calling his known guest), to the breakfast receptionist (texting on her phone) to the breakfast waiters (3 different waiters offering the buffet). The most arrogant staff we have ever encountered, Will definitely share this horrible experience with everyone. September 26, 2014

Room size is good, bathrooms rather old, needs renovation Rooms located towards 57th St very noisy, poor isolation Restaurant not recommended, restaurant Morningstar at corner 9th Av/57th street offers a 10% discount for guest of Holiday Inn. Staff is quite friendly. I am an IHG reward member but did not realize any advantage of that program. September 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible experience !!! RAT ALERT !!!!! I have been staying at this Hotel for several years now. The location is great and the prices used to be very competitive. The rooms where not the best but it was very good for the price. Unfortunately this last stay was terrible. First the prices were super HIGH !!!! the reason given to me was that they have remodeled the rooms.I got to my room and I realized they only changed the head boards and the TV !!! That is it, Everything else was the same. First night I was given a room right next to the elevator, so I could not sleep as I could hear everyone going in and out of the elevator. Second night I asked for a room change, I had to go down to the lobby 5 times to get a new room. That night I was watching TV, when suddenly I saw a big RAT running across the room !!!!! I was SHOCKED and I called the Hotel people immediately. They changed the room for me and apologized. I wanted to check out and go to a different hotel but they would not refund my money. SO I was stuck in this hotel. I asked one of the workers if this has happened before and his answer was..... I cannot say that it has not !!!!!!! I am not staying there ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terrible experience. I know NYC has lots of rats.... but I did not expect to see one in my room !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! September 23, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Inconvenientes Estuve alojada entre el 10 y 17 de septiembre de 2014, y a diferencia de mi estancia en febrero me encontré con los siguientes inconvenientes: El internet para las tabletas y teléfonos desde la habitación no funcionaba, hice el respectivo reclamo y me dieron a escoger dos habitaciones mas que presentaron el mismo problema Eramos cuatro personas y sostenidamente dejaron tres toallas a pesar de nuestra queja El ruido en los pasillos y habitaciones contiguas se escuchaba en la habitación y nos despertaba en la noche Se escuchaban todos los sonidos de las tuberías cuando alguien se bañaba o utilizaba la poceta de las habitaciones de alrededor September 22, 2014
