Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient shuttle to airport, comfortable bed. We stayed here because of an early flight next day. The shuttle was convenient and comfortable. The room itself was clean and had comfortable bed and good shower. Did not have any time for any other amenities. November 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Review I made reservation in this hotel as it was very close to Newark Airport thus allowing us an easy access to our early flight to Denver. We dropped our luggage at 10 AM and it was promptly stored for us for the day as the room was not ready. Upon our return late afternoon, the receptionist took promptly care of us delivering the stored luggage and providing us with the key. The room was nice, clean, and welcoming. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent stay for a night Nice enough hotel for the area. Shuttle service sufficient but slower than it should have been based on location of hotel to airport. Construction may have played a part in that. Check in/out was quick and easy. Staff courteous. Room nice and good value for price paid. Breakfast in restaurant was agonizingly slow, over cooked, and priced much too high for what was received. November 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Probably a better option in Newark area... I've given this property multiple stays and it doesn't seem that improvement nor customer service is their strength. First of all, if you park your car, you have to check-in at the desk, then go to the room to deposit your belongings then go back to the car to insert a parking sticker on the dash. Since the hotel has a 24 hour guard, it would seem they could have the guard check the list for guests then issue the parking sticker when the guest comes on the property. The internet is not quick. Likely a function of too many people using it and too few routers to handle the traffic on each floor. The meals are high carb / starch, low on protein or anything good to eat. Everytime I check in, the front desk is typically understaffed for the volume of people checking in. November 10, 2014

We had a very early flight out and being able to get to the airport quickly within minutes was important. Even though location was not on the survey it is the reason I would recommend along with comfortable and clean hotel. November 8, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly great! Very nice, helpful staff, room was great, shuttle to the airport so convenient. The room was very quiet, despite being next to the airport and tram. BUT...the restaurant is under renovation and the fill-in situation was not at all suited to us. You have to buy what basically amounts to a fixed price meal, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You cannot purchase just a sandwich, you have to get the meal...much too much food. Nothing is a' la carte. The "light" dinner is the lunch fixed price meal. It will be much better after the restaurant is back up. November 7, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not What We Requested!!! When reservations were made, we specifically requested a room on the first floor. When we checked-in, a room on the 5th floor was assigned. When we brought our request to the employees attention, we were given a room on the 1st floor which was handicap accessible. The kitchen is in the process of being renovated, therefore, the Sunday dinner buffet was served on a hot plate. Hot food on the buffet was cold. It definitely was not worth $26.00. I suggest a notation be added to the web-site with the renovation information. Very disappointed. About a month ago we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Wallace, NC. The room we received smelled like smoke. We brought it to the attention of management, even your customer care department, no response yet from Holiday Inn. October 31, 2014

We stopped on our way to a family wedding in the area, and then about a week later on our way back home. Each time, the staff was very helpful, the airport shuttle was convenient, the restaurant was terrific for both the breakfasts and dinners we had there. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely bad customer service! Needed to deal with management, who was rude-both Steven (GM) and Gerald (front end manager). Would NEVER stay here again. Room was released, mistruths about "a phone call was made to you". Was told by Gerald during check in the 7-8pm hour, if we did not take the room they had available "you can find another room elsewhere". During a phone conversation with the GM (Steven), I was told "if you do not go by what I say, I will end this phone call, is that what you want?". This is just a few of the examples of how they treat their customers at this location. In fact, Gerald blamed IHG customer service for booking a room "that never existed". Will NEVER stay at this location again and would NEVER recommend this location! October 15, 2014
