Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No more hen/stag parties please! We were staying for a weekend visiting family. On Saturday night/Sunday morning we were woken at 3.30am by rowdy girls who were shouting, arguing and banging doors. It gradually calmed down and we were beginning to go back to sleep when we were disturbed again, this time by police banging on the door and then interviewing the girls who were shouting again. I realise we were unlucky to have a hen party next to us but please think about putting them all in the same part of the hotel, separate from older guests. November 22, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great on site Italian Nothing to complain about with regard to our stay. Really struggling to think of anything but I'll do my best ! So if you like butter on your toast we were told they don't have it, a bit strange but hardly a problem. Very happy with our evening Italian meal, most enjoyable. We did catch a whiff that someone had smoked in our room previously but again wouldn't hold this against a good hotel only against an inconsiderate guest. We will stay again. November 17, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to sleep Unfortunately we had a room right next to the corridor fire door and these doors are not soft closing therefore every time the door is opened it slams such and as our door was right next to the corridor door everytime someone went by we knew it. Additionally, my husband used the gym (ok basic) unfortunately there was no water available whatsoever. An empty fridge but no stand alone water tank considering this is a gym very poor. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant on two occasions . The food was hot and well prepared. November 1, 2014
