Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight Stay Ideal location and hotel / facilities of very good standard. We had pre warning that there were functions on at the hotel on the night of our stay and that the restaurant would be closed, but arrangements had been made for food to be available in the bar and other areas in the hotel. Would recommend the Aylesbury Room which was of very good standard and all facilities were excellent. Staff were very efficient, polite and welcoming throughout our stay and also at checkout. An excellent location for ease of access to M1 and surrounding area and would stay again without hestitation November 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant stay Very impressed with this hotel. I was on a two day course 5 mins away and wen I finally got to the hotel they were friendly and very helpfull. I have ceoliacs disease so can't eat wheat or gluten and they were very helpful with this. The kitchen made no fuss and I had a starter and main corse that was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was also of a good standard. All staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and he beds were comfy with a choice of soft and hard pillows. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room not bad, service poor Room is new and appealing. However, many light bulbs required changing and the bathroom was not very clean and is very old and tired. Service in the restaurant is appalling, having to continually prompt staff and for requests to take too long. November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff interaction If you want a fantastic welcome and staff that are attentive then this is the place to go. After a long day I was welcomed with a big smile and a quick and efficient check in that still made me feel valued. I was offered a table reservation and to give a timeframe so that I could get to my room - all very welcome. The bar/lounge was pleasant although a few tables needed to be cleaned but this was done shortly after I had sat down. A new team member was training so service to order was a little slower but this was soon rectified when a manager appeared to add support. Food was very nice and well presented and the 250ml glass of wine was a tad expensive at £7. My room was very nice and comfortable with the only downside being that I could hear the television of the room next door, the phone call that was get the point that the walls are thin between room 2 and 3. However, the bed is comfortable and once I did get off to sleep if was fine. Overall a very pleasant stay. November 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, good food and clean room Attended my nephews wedding, arriving the night before. Quick check in by friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you need, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities (just what we needed after a 4 hour journey). Plenty of room even with the sofa bed set up. Bed was comfortable, room was warm (once we found the air conditioning control panel) and the bathroom clean. We had a snack in the bar which was very good. The meal at the wedding was very nice and the service was really good. Overall we had a lovely stay. The bathroom could do with an extractor fan as the mirror did not clear for a long while after showering. November 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by M.K. East Disappointing! Rooms and public areas very cold. Arrived late on frosty night to a very cold bedroom. Poor heating by air conditioning unit only. Advised that reception could remotely turn on heating in advance but not allowed to! Room tired. Some welcome to what should be a "better" class of hotel. November 10, 2014
