I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for the exceptional service that Cassendra and Alex they provided me during my stay. I am a frequent business traveler and after speaking with both of them for a few minutes I felt at home just through our brief interactions. They even went as far sending coffee to my room that evening as I really wanted to have a coffee and just couldnt walk to the restaurant. Please extend my thank you to them both for a job well done. I do a fair amount of travelling and have never experienced such a un-professional and under qualified manager. She did not address any of the issues that we had and was very rude, and basically told us that she couldnt of wouldnt do any thing to rectify the problems that we encountered. If I were to list all the issues I would need a lot more space than you have provided. This hotel is so over priced and would like someone to explain to me .. state tax $10.00...Lodging tax $6.25.....Destination fee $4.05. I have stayed in the U.S. hotels before and have not seen these charges. \The fact that the fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night did not help. This hotel also needs major renovations. The fact that we booked 22 rooms should have at the very least afforded us professional & respectfull service. November 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not very accommodating to hockey families our floor was evacuated because of a fire alarm at 4:30am sunday morning because of a fire alarm it was a false alarm but my family in 303 never heard the alarm and and no one from the hotel made sure we were safe what if it had been a real fire. no late check out because we were with a hockey club, we are a club that brings 3-5 teams every year from ohio and you are never accommodating to our families.why is there a $50.00 hold on my credit card when my money is taken immediately and i have to wait 3 to 5 five days to get it back and why not put that on the bill that you slip under my door. The staff was exceedingly helpful with many things such as allowing us to park while sightseeing before our room was ready. Having the staff wear their football game jerseys on Sunday made a luxury stay feel very comfortable and easy-going. We enjoyed many meals at the Peppertree Restaurant and were delighted with the friendly and efficient staff, excellent food and awesome coffee. I was especially pleased with the 7th floor and the view of the Falls area. November 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suite room Room was a suite with 2 doors to enter/exit one in each room. Was disappointed the suite did not have a kitchen but had a small refrigerator. Furniture was outdated but did its job of providing an relaxing environment. Lighting was of poor quality. There was a tear In the ceiling which was only noticed when laying on the bed and looking up. Over all the room was okay but could use more upkeep, for the price it was good because we were only in the room to sleep at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. November 2, 2013

Only 1 block from the Niagara river and a couple of blocks (maybe a half mile) from the falls. And, there's a large casino just 2 blocks away as well. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of Communication with guests! I booked this room for 2 nights online, because the website said "free breakfast". I had stayed here about 4 years ago, and it was quite good then. This time was different! When we arrived, the person behind the desk told me there was no free breakfast with the room that I had booked after all. Too bad for us! My confirmation printout, did not specify breakfast, so I was disappointed right away. The next day, no-one came to provide maid service. When we returned to our room about 8:30 pm, we discovered that we had no clean towels and our beds were not made up. When I called the Front Desk to complain, the girl said that I must have asked to be put on the "do not clean list". She said I "must have" asked one of the cleaning staff not to come into our room to clean. I did no such thing! They offered to come up then, but it was so late. Being very sorry and saying there was nothing they could do, we did receive a complimentary breakfast for Day 2. Not impressed! October 28, 2013

It was weird to see a room with no carpeting, but glad because most carpets make a room musty smelling and this room did not smell musty. Large refrigerator was great...no microwave though. The hotel also has a nice game room for the kids and an exercise room. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. However, there is no recognition for IHG Reward members. I am a platinum member. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ehh First I would like to say that Niagara Falls NY is rundown and broken. Everything there was to do was closed down, even the observation points to view the falls. You are much, much better off going to the Canadian side. As for the hotel itself. I am so glad this stay was given to us as a wedding gift because it was not worth the price that was paid. We stayed on the 7th floor and we had a view of the Canadian skyline which was kind of dissappointing knowing there was so much going on over there and nothing to do on this side. The sleep was great! The bed was nice and big and the blackout curtains blocked 99% of the light. The shower was painful torture! However, I was impressed to find Bath & Body Works brand shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the bathrooms. There was blood and boogers high on the bathroom walls and door. The ability to control your own room temperature was a plus. The food downstairs was horrible and way way over priced, $4 for a yogurt or bowl of oatmeal?! The elevators are terrifying! Absolutely horrifying! We found it was better to take the stairs....to the 7th floor. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I wish there would have been a hot tub or jacuzzi, that would have made a better expierence. October 21, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor visit I had reserved two standard rooms - and was given to 1 king size bed room and 1 handicapped king . one room was on the 6th floor and the other on the first. needless to say my family was split up. Both rooms were also at a slightly different price. Upon asking the woman at the desk about changing rooms, and why the price difference, she called over- I am assuming the manager. He was vey rude and said that he all that we have and turned around and left. Being that I stay at this hotel 3 times a year booking two rooms each time and stay a minimum of 3 nights. also being a ING gold elite member I expected better service. 2NDLY - the restaurant forces you to take their buffet. 3 days in a row, we were told if we want to order from the menu it would take 20 minutes to half hour. Once again this was the first time I have experienced that here. Usually I have a very good experience here. If this was my first time staying here, I would not come back. October 20, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OK for a night... I stayed in room 704, which was a suite, which I received as an upgrade due to my Priority Club Platinum status. Pros: Great location! You can walk to everything. There's even a city bus (#55) that takes you out to the shopping area if you don't care to endure the horrible parking lots out there. Staff are friendly Cons: It's an old hotel that has had some refurbishment done to it. The ancient Westinghouse elevators have seen better days. I stayed right next to them but didn't hear them at all, thankfully. Upkeep is a bit of an issue. While it is definitely cleaner in many aspects than it was when it was the Four Points, the bathroom vent was caked with dust, and part of the lever to turn on the shower had broken off and I sliced my finger trying to turn on the shower. During my stay, there was a kids hockey team in the hotel. Lots of kids running around and drunk parents. Oh well... If you're looking for a place to crash and the price is right, you might consider this place. Germophobes and those looking for something more upscale should look elsewhere. October 17, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just fair is how we would rate this hotel. This hotel needs much updating. We had two adjoining rooms for 4 people. Both rooms had a peculiar smell. The bathrooms were quite small and seemed to be clean, but the towels had old stains. The mattresses were very sub-par - hard and uncomfortable, and the linens were stained. YUK! No excuse for this! We were there for just one night for a wedding and it was a good location for that so we endured it. A maintenance man in a dirty uniform rode the small elevator with us. (No service elevator?) No class. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and nice. That's the best I can say about this place. We did not eat here. Enter at your own risk! October 15, 2013

The location was very convenient for a night walk to the water and again in the morning before breakfast. We took breakfast in the hotel, where we again felt very welcome. October 15, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holidome This Holiday Inn is what use to be called a Holidome. Which means it has a large swimming pool but no hot tub to relax in after being on your feet all day. Our room was clean with 2 queen beds. One was against the wall. So if you're sharing a room with 4 people one person has to scoot to the end of the bed to get out. The temperature control did not work in our room. The dial just spun around for heat/cool. It's a short walk to see Niagara Falls and go to restaurants. October 7, 2013
