The booking in process was awful! There were only 2 desk staff that were occupied with demanding customers. As a result it took best part of 30 mins just to book in and get a room key. At the end of a 12 hr working day this is totally unacceptable.
The room was what I would expect for a Holiday Inn.
The breakfast was poor in terms of quality of food though the staff tried their best.
The booking out again took too long. Why oh why are there so many data entry operations required on the screen. The software has clearly been designed with out the front end operation in mind.
My experience in this hotel was poor and I have recommended to my company not to use this hotel or only in the last resort.

Can't say enough about the staff, especially the gentleman at Reception who was so helpful. They held my luggage as we drove the south of France for 3 days (very helpful). When returning they greeted me as if I never left.

An excellent few days spent in Nice and this well located Holiday Inn where the staff were very attentive. Our room was excellent and extremely clean and nicely decorated.

We had a great experience at Nice , hotel is located close to bus stop and tram, very helpful staff . I would definitely recommend this place . Worth the money.

We found that the level of attention given to clients in the outside Patio Area was poor with having to find a barman/Waiter on more than one occasion .
The attention to detail and Quality in the Breakfast room was not what was expected . A good example of that was constantly waiting around for the hot food in particular to be replaced due to empty food trays.
I would also have expected each foodstuff to of had its own serving fork or spoon. I had to serve myself bacon every day using a spoon and quite often use a spoon which had been allocated to the tomato sauce to serve myself some scrambled eggs.

This was a superb location for the Monaco Historic Grand Prix and Nice was full of life and great restaurants. The room in the hotel was excellent and the reception staff very helpful. The breakfast on the first morning was disappointing as the "hot" food option was cold and there was no microwave to heat it up. The breakfast was also very overpriced given the poor quality of the food. For the next two mornings we ate breakfast in cafes in Nice. The evening menu was OK but the wine list was very poor.
The parking was also awkward as having emailed the hotel to ask about parking and been given a price I confirmed that we would be arriving by car. Unfortunately there were none of the hotels reserved places left when we arrived and we had to use the normal public spaces in the Louvre car park. This was fine until we tried to leave and could not get any credit cards to work?? Eventually we managed to contact someone and managed to pay by cash!
Overall a great location right in the heart of Nice. Lovely rooms and friendly staff.
