Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Really not a Holiday Inn Wifi usage policy is outrageous. I had to logout from laptop to use internet with my phone! unspeakable. Toilet lid was not white but yellow !!! eek! Stains were all over the chairs. Staff do not know the word smile. December 16, 2014

Breakfast was so good we didn't need lunch :-) Next time we'd not choose floor 6 below the rooftop bar because of the noise when they clean up at the end of the night, but that was the only sound to disturb. Barely two minutes walk from buzzing Ledra Street, coffee shops, boutiques and 24 hour kiosks, it is perfect for business and pleasure. From a business point of view, it is convenient for meetings with potential clients and during free time there is a swimming pool and leasure centre to help you unwind! The jewel in the crown, however, are the kind and friendly staff for whom nothing is ever too much trouble. Vor dem Zimmerfenster sind laute Lüftungen, die ich dank des gesunden Schlafes nicht gehört habe. Mein Zimmer lag auf der ruhigen Seite, weg von der Strasse. November 5, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Strange Place Our overnight stay was a very mixed experience, a super meal in the Marco Polo rooftop restaurant and a room that does not deserve to be in a 4 star hotel. The room was the standard of a tired UK budget hotel costing much less than we paid per night in a King Leisure Room (124). The first warning was when the room number was a piece of laminated paper partly stuck to the wall. The doors looked like unvarnished plywood. On coming into the room first impressions were of a basic room with a larger bed. Specific things we noticed were the scuffed wall, untidy wiring to the TV, bent chair, mildew on the valence and the towels which were thin, grey, frayed and were holed. The bed itself was exceptionally hard but we had lovely pillows. In the bathroom, the basin was cracked and the loo roll holder crooked. Turning to the good, we could only praise the Marco Polo restaurant - the food was excellent italian style and plentiful. The service we received was similarly, excellent. The hotel boasts other restaurants but they were closed when we were there. Breakfast was buffet style both hot and cold and was fine. Finally, we were looking for stairs to walk down one level and saw a stair case indicated virtually opposite oue room door. It must have been a fire escape as it was filthy and there was a cup of cold liquid sitting in the middle of one of the stairs. October 24, 2014
