Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Other than central location, not much to write home about The hotel is in dire need of renovation. I was switched 3 times during my 3 night stay, from rooms that were recently renovated ( but the ceiling leaked during the night from a faulty AC unit above), to an un-renovated "suite" out of the 80's, to a super small renovated room to a non renovated large room that was comfortable but dated. The hotel has a great location, a nice rooftop terrace and accommodating staff, but if you end up staying there, make sure you insist on a renovated room. I won't be rushing to stay there again anytime soon. September 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good location in Old Town Nicosia The hotel is well situated on the edge of Old Town Nicosia so well placed for general access to the town. I was generally satisfied but I got the impression that the hotel is a little tired, the air-con was struggling somewhat (although the temperature was very hot (over 40C). Furthermore I arrived after 9:30 pm and there was no room service facility at that time. September 1, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, polite, quiet. My family (2 adults and 2 children) booked 2 nights.Personal in hotel a very friendly to visitors. Clean, polite, quiet. Chance of a very late check-out. Good location - close to old city and to intercity bus stop (We moved to Cyprus on buses - because of left-hand traffic). Good Indoor pool, Sauna, Roman Baths, Gym. As benefit for Platinum member - complimentary breakfast, but for all the guests in Holiday Inn the breakfast for children free of charge. Result - we extended stay for 5 nights. August 9, 2014

Very friendly welcome at book in, recognised as a gold elite member & given a complimentary room upgrade, offered helpful advice on tourist sites to visit whilst in town. The restaurant on the top floor has superb views of the whole city, exceptional service (thank you Plame) & great food. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nicosia Cyprus and my wife and I hope to be able to return in the future! March 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Closed Restaurants and No Hot Water We live in Paphos and drove friends to Nicosia as they had to be at a clinic for major surgery early morning. Upon check in (room 420) we enquired about the many restaurants listed in the lobby to be told NONE were open due to renovation!! We could however eat in the Lobby!!! Upon trying a shower at 6pm found no Hot Water, was moved to Room 520 only to be confronted with foul stale cigarette fumes. Moved to 620 where at last hot water. Went OUT for dinner had a good nights sleep only to find NO HOT WATER in the morning. Went to Breakfast most of which was cold, including the plates. The staff were apologetic but the situations should never have arose in a 4 Star International Hotel Chain Property. A memorable stay ALL FORTHE WRONG REASONS. Will defnitely not stay again.
