Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A home away from home I have been here since July 2012 (now December 2012) awaiting my medical retirement from the Navy due to injuries I sustained during my Reserve Mobilization. This truly has been a home away from home with the super friendly staff and the great location. Easy access to I-64 and I-44 to take you anywhere in the Tidewater area as well as numerous malls and restaurants withing 15 minutes. I can not recommend it highly enough. December 13, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what we expected I reserved this hotel room for my husband. He was spending Veterans Day weekend with one of our Navy friends. The room was okay, but there was no way for him make anything hot to drink. Come morning he found out that breakfast wasn't included and was told he needed to have a coupon that should have been issued when the room was booked. I booked directly from the chains website and nothing was mentioned about coupons. So, he had to pay for his meal. He then was told he could not bring a simple spoon back to the room for making tea or having a snack later! His sleep was poor due to an uncomfortable bed and noise from the outside. I felt horrible, as this is supposed to be a reputable chain and, as a Rewards Club member who has stayed in many locations, I trusted his stay would have been better. November 13, 2013
